Yeah so on the topic of Rp DoE has pretty much closed down so EW returning is the only hope we have left.

Akam...we were totally kidding around, we weren't actually RPing at that moment.
The first Zombie Screenshot is a perfect example of what Blackfyre went through everyday….at least twice….The giant cave was built UNDER the Blackfyre city and we had to assault it….but by that point all we had was leather armor…..and stone swords…..and not even full leather, Im talking helmets and boots….and we still took the damn thing! And we managed to RP through all of this!Us staff talking about stuffs and I probably accidentally take a screenshot.
Just another demon battle at that caste I kept attacking ^^
A pretty fast rp demon cave event I built straight under that castle above.
And me being bored releasing a couple of zombies upon a group of adventurers, simply because I was bored
The secret cave I had placed under the Elven spawn which I used to build stuff like the demon portal.

Actually, me and Necros made quite a bit of iron armour so we were all in iron.
Stealth Joe kills 3 guys in diamonds armour when they come a-raiding!
Sly Joe drops Akam into a pit of lava when he comes a-raiding!

OK guys, but wouldn't it be so much funner if it was just a factions PVP with occasional mob sieges?
Then no-one would have to worry about Rp, and there wouldn't be constant, 'OOOOh Gotta keep the peace', Just lots of war, and lots of fun!
(and mob sieges too!)

It would not have worked. Ilthilien could not have been destroyed from the outside as it was too large (It would have been like germany vs russia in ww2). On the other hand it fell apart internally. 1 year afterwards. And it is still standing.

This was precisely my suggestion: an empires server (Basically factions but with a small number of larger factions) with some RP elements in it (Optional RP)
I am still stuck in writing the EW RP history (Too many threads to read on the forum), but I will do that and also post another thread to revive my suggestion

Sorry for double posting, but in case people wonder why Blackfyre and Kargeth could not have destroyed Ilthilien the reason is this:
-Kargeth was effectively reduced to Edessa at that point. TBH it was NOT a major power during the period in which the server was actually open, it had the potential to be before the server opened but it didn't work.
-Blackfyre had a few settlements but were still low in number.
-Ilthilien had more towns than Blackfyre and Kargeth combined and most likely a larger population as well. The FUNCTIONING towns Ilthilien had were: Forlond, Ilthilia, Athos (Town in middle of deep grove, also called Combined Alliance, it was not fully within ilthilien yet but was already allied with it and most likely would have joined had the server not closed), E_Bar, which was 1 more than Blackfyre and Kargeth combined. This does not include the towns which were being built, which there were around 2-3 and even more being planned (I forgot about them I have to look it up on the forums). So basically Ilthilien 4 towns with the potential for 7 towns, Blackfyre 2 towns Kargeth 1 town.
-Ilthiliens population was strong, we were still standing even after our capital got blown up and our fortress was in ruins. There were plenty of other fortresses to hide in and towns to run to even if you guys took athos and ebar which would not have happened.
-Reddagger was against Blackfyre, it would have most likely helped Ilthilien during the war and indeed quite a few members acted against Blackfyre.
So basically although Blackfyre and Kargeth may have better pvpers and armaments they would have been outnumbered in all respects. This means that Ilthilien could have fielded 2 armies during an actual battle, one to defend its settlements and another to attack Blackfyre and Kargeth from behind. No matter how good Blackfyre and Kargeth's armies were they could not have stopped that from happening.
I will arrange my points in my EW RP history and it will be explained in more detail when I talk about the war.
