RP server screenshots only give arguments. Please, just lock it.

They should have the right to, on a public forum, have a thread dedicated to screenshots. If they can make an argument out of that, then I don't really think they should be on the forums.

Let's do it on the German-Nazi way:

Remove everything that we don't like ;)

The bridge falls its up to archers we would have YianniC and his archers we build tower we shoot and kill you you cant get back we take forlond. A major strategic posistion fro going down the erduin you would have never been able to get back to your other cities where you would then hunker down for a long siege you would have had little to no chance

1. Ilthilien originated from 'Ilthilien Rangers'. By rangers we mean that we have good archers as well and it also means that we are used to guerrilla tactics (those anrza killed were mainly civilians), your 'cover of darkness' would not have worked. (Most of them left now though after RP closed). Reddagger, the only archer force which could have turned the tide against either side, was behind us or at least not on your side, I highly doubt the archer squad would have easily defeated the rangers. .[/quote]

Blackfyres archers were the most trained in Arpenia because every day demons came at us.

Also me and Joe had enderpearls so we could get in and attack you from behind :3

My response on argument thread.

you do realize we had a fricken tower you cant noob up it we just break the stairs and shoot the stair builders good luck besieging us we would just make life in forlond dangerous remember we controlled the fastest route to forlond from brist. Frolond was a sitting duck built on the wrong side of the river when someone has both sides that was the key. You overestimate your power

I don't think I overestimated my power. The fastest route from Forlond to Brist was along the Cair Andros road (BTW it passes through the SOUTH side of the river which is overlooked by Forlond and could be defended by Forlond) which was on flat land (I tried both routes before), I ordered the Brist branch built so that it would be harder for Edessa to cut us off if war broke out. If a war broke out we would have simply ignored the tower and sacked the rest of Edessa first, then posted guards at the bottom, you have to come down eventually. Also Reddagger was on our side and we had some pretty good archers as well, so in an archery fight you may not have the advantage and also you would eventually run out of arrows. If a settlement was a sitting duck it was Edessa.

You do realize we will never have to come down from our tower the massive farm contained in it would have been hilarious. Plus it would be very easy for edessa to cut forlond off from brist possibly forcing you to spawn at he other city. Do you know the art of a well timed arrow mike. I was thinking about a massive tunnel network. Edessa would be stronger than firlond when finished. Also the city's plugin sucked

tl;dr: Forlond would have a similar tower and there is an Ilthilien-controlled alternate route. Edessa is but one settlement and there are only 2 relatively good pvpers, Blackfyre would not have allied with it (everybody13 allying with akam?), and when Edessa wears themselves out they would have been pushed back to the tower where they would have eventually fallen.

Note that your tower was never completed and therefore I can talk about what Forlond would have been like if it were completed. Also note that Forlond had plans for a tower like that of the old minas morgul. You know, that one people called 'super op' and had a single spiral staircase? It would have been completed approximately the same time (Ilthilien can draw on FAR more resources than you guys) and could reasonably house a small farm as well. Forlond was definitely not complete by the time RP closed.

Obviously by that time we would have claimed all of our land, so good luck getting in.

Edessa is on the route that directly connects Brist and Forlond, but if you looked at the map in the Arpenian Compendium you would have seen that the most accessible settlement to Brist was Dragon Bridge, an Ilthilien settlement. This was the way I routinely used to get back to Forlond (Brist-Dragon Bridge-Forlond) instead of the mountains where it would have taken forever. On the other hand, with Forlond and Dragon Bridge controlled by Ilthilien EDESSA would have found itself cut off from trade from Blackfyre (not that they liked you guys anyway) and Athos. Obviously no Ilthilien settlement would have traded with you so you would be cut off from all trade.

So basically you could not take Forlond, just about everyone hates you, and Ilthilien is now super pissed at you. Remember WW2? Germany vs USSR? Japan vs US? In both cases the winner won because they had a much larger industrial capacity, which is exactly what we have here. Except that this time you won't manage to take anything.

Michael you forget many many routes I would have created If I felt peace was to fail Edessa would have perfect amount of trade to it.

I know the routes you created, but since we were talking about war (Our debate is about how you would have destroyed Ilthilien) none of the trade routes would be working simply because no one would want to trade with you. All settlements were either Blackfyran (they didn't like you much), Ilthilien (If we are at war would we trade with you?), Athos (Ilthilien ally and was highly likely to join Ilthilien we were negotiating) and Reddagger (They are not an economic power). As for cutting us off your plan depends on you having a greater military strength than Ilthilien and/or a better strategic position which enables you to control all routes from Forlond to Brist. You had neither.

Perry probably would have defected to help me alongside nacnud, matt, and sjoerdo. I beat the Reddagger dudes probably would have helped us too. We were pretty well equipped in Edessa as gym, i, and col all had full diamond armor and some of us could use iron swords. Most of ilthilien was inactive at that point and lived inside of edessa after the sacking of forlond. It was a sad sight to see the ruins of Ilthilien. Blackfyre was very corrupt and everybody13 was a backstabbing faggot, but they were not directly at war with us.
I have stayed out of all these discussions, and I intend to remain out of them. But don't insult me personally or swear at me, its a video game, get over it.

I don't intend to discuss in this thread (use the argument thread) but name an instance where Blackfyre backstabbed anyone. I can't think of one. He was openly hostile towards Kargeth.
