If we hosted the Servers in Germany at DE-CIX (Frankfurt am Main) everyone would be happy. The DE-CIX is the worlds centerpoint of internet traffic across the atlantic. Ping and Speeds there are amazing!

How many people voted on that poll? Because newbies don't usually hang on forums.
I'm not using it as an excuse. We HAD to move the host as quickly as possible because of the other host quitting, if we hadn't moved we would had lost everything, so we didn't have time to check for a proper host, so we just picked the biggest and most trustworthy one, even though it's in the US. I'd rather have a slow host but be sure it doesn't disappear and it removes all our files, than a fast one I can't trust at all. Also, we will probably be able to move back to Amsterdam within a few months.
I expected this to be way worse for me, and all I'm glad about is that I barely lag, even though I'm this far away, showing that it's not just the distance that decides weather or not you have lag or delay.

that is because this was before the servers 2nd birthday or about halfway into 2013, it was like my 15th post. you were not even around EW back then lol.

I wasn't on the forums, sure. Can't really put my finger on the date. I always answer to that "I was here when RP was still a thing.", but wouldn't know.
Simply, the most reliable hosts are in the U. S.
The Host we are on now is barely playable. I mean after you shoot an arrow at someone it takes 1,5 Sec To fire. When you run into a fight to PvP and you hit someone he takes the dmg like 1 sec later, that brings you're whole attack into shreds. But im glad you said that the Host will be going in a few months to Amsterdam until then i guess i'l play less can't wait for it.

REALLY! that does not sound at all like my game experience being on the west side of the US while the server was in europe.The Host we are on now is barely playable. I live on the West Coast of Mexico facing towards the pacific and when the host as a good 5,000 miles away the worst lag I ever got was on Dale with 70 people on, which brought me down to 15 fps.
