VENTURES INTO THE REMOTE (RP)

Glorfindel dodged each smash with unholy agility. He leaped up onto the Ha’zi’s fists and slid his sword through it whilst running like a tornado of wind up his arm.

Sigeric, as the Guardian Giant, saw that the elf was slicing the Warrior’s arm into salami pieces.

A dagger smacked Ha’zi’s eye and bounced off, not exactly penetrating its mark. Zaro watched as Glorfindel shredded the beast’s right hand, then its arm and up its shoulder, going for its nape.

Tytus watched this all occur with concern.
“He’s become wild like Miriel,” he muttered to himself inside the nape of the Screaming Giant, “So...that’s the Power of the Warrior Giant. He’s like her....” His mind trailed off.

Berethor and Evenis were too busy with the Dwarf to interfere. The Guardian is a problem. He’d have to deal with it.

The Warrior was going on a rampage and couldn’t be trusted to attack it. And with that elf...who even was that elf? How was he so fast? He would also be a problem. Both the elf and the Guardian would have to go. Pity.

The Screaming Giant opened its mouth in Sigeric’s direction.

It would shake wildly, screaming in pain as one of its arms is destroyed. Its left arm tries to grab on to the swift elf desparately, all the while trying to painfully move forward in its feasting conquest. Eonwë listened and Túrin’s eyes darkened.

“You know nothing of your sire, servant of the Enemy. You are deceived, I too was deceived long ago, my father was deceived, my own sister-“ He raised the Valar-blade, “You are in no place to bargain. Release Eonwë and I will allow you to walk away and live free as a hermit. Unhand him now or I will kill you.”

”No, Túrin. No more death. Lo-look at us. Look at what we’ve become...” He gasped and coughed, ”Pyrus, I understand you. I-I truly do. But we are on two sides of some else’s war. Just, walk away...” Eonwë shut his eyes knowing that his life lay in the Maia’s hands.

As Ha’zi’s left hand moved around, Glorfindel’s blades sliced through his fingers and leaped. He jumped onto the hand and pivoted, landing ontop of the Warrior Giant’s motley mossy head. He sliced his blades through the domed skull and drilled through the cranium like a mad digger.

FUUUUUCCCCKKKK. The closest translation came as another blood-curling roar from the beast, and it now smashed at its head repeatedly to hit away the elf. 12253360

As Sigeric's sword continued to materialize, he surveyed the state of the battlefield, his eye caught by the Screaming Giant, turning to face him. Creating armour over his Giant's ears as he had earlier, Sigeric held the sword in his left hand, and quickly conjured a (relatively) small throwing knife in his right. He launched the blade at the widening mouth of the Screaming Giant, aware of the fact that it might be sent back towards him if his enemy released his shockwave in time. In anticipation of such an instance, Sigeric prepared to duck or block any sudden projectiles.

”What are you inferring to, foe? Unhand my friend, then speak, not before!” Túrin ordered Pyrus, bringing the Valar-blade ever closer.

”I remember the past clearly. Morgoth destroying the Lamps on Almaren, Ungoliant and their unholy alliance, the consumption of the Two Trees, the countless wars, the lies, the deceit, the hundreds of brothers and sisters that fought and died because Morgoth despised the Valar. Because he despised Eru Illuvítar. Because he is evil, he is corrupted, he is wretched. I remember it all Pyrus. Why have you become so blind?” Eonwe had stopped struggling at this point. He just waited. It mattered little if he died now. Túrin would kill Pyrus, Tulkas would defeat Morgoth and Túrin shall plunge Gurthang into his heart. It was the way it was supposed to be. If he died here...his only regret would be her. Eonwë shut his eyes and pictured Arien, he opened them and looked up trying to see the sun.

”Pyrus, please. If you’re going to snap my neck, can I at least ask you to pass on a message for me?”

———-

The Warrior Giant bashing its head in did nothing, the elf had entered the Giant’s body and was tunneling, bloody tunneling, through it. Zaro sliced open Ha’zi’s feet in the meanwhile.

Ha’zi felt cold steel slice across his limbs and the next thing he saw was black. A deep, rich black abyss that spread across the horizon with a dribble of bloody red trickling down.

The Warrior Giant went slack and it’s body smashed into the ground before becoming still. After some moments, Glorfindel emerged, blood staining his face, arms, legs, chest, everything, dragging Ha’zi by the hair. The boy was unconscious, arms had been severed and his legs fell behind him as the elf tossed him out onto the muddy battlefield, falling down after leaping from the Warrior Giant’s decaying corpse which steamed in the rain.

The Screaming Giant, of course, screamed and the sound wave sent the knife back at Sigeric. It bounced off his sword and past him as Sigeric felt the wind uplifting and hurling rocks, debris, bodies and all manner of other material at him. He even felt his feet lift, raising out of the ground. Was he about to fall over?

Surrounding the Screaming Giant were five other Giants, all ten meters in height. They made no effort to move but stood as body-shields to him.

I hate that guy so much. Zaro covered his ears in agony before calling to Glorinfindel "What are we gonna do about those giants. Tulkas is too stuck on Sauron to help.

Glorfindel was breathing heavily. Blood stained him from head to toe and his face swelled with hatred as he looked down at Ha’zi.

“I’ll kill them.” He said without even taking his eyes off the boy, “Every last one of these damn, monsters. Wake up, you bastard!” He kicked Ha’zi in the face.

Head aching, well, all of his body aching, Ha'zi woke up with a fright. He screamed in absolute terror at the sight of all of his body parts chopped off, thoroughly confused and pain flaring into extremes. What the hell had happened? Where is he? Who did this to him?

The Grimnir/Iver'd boy craned his neck up in pure shock at Glorfindel, who was furious. Wait... he was carrying him? Did he do this to him? Why was he so angry? "G-glorfindel, w-what are you doing to me? W-what happened?" Ha'zi stammered. 12253360

Pyrus looked at Turin and said "Unless you wish for him to die, step back. I speak of our, his hidden memories. Those that Irmo hid away. He would then address Eonwë "I will only kill you unless either of them or you try to do something. But if just like you had any hope of change in me earlier believe in me that the Valar are not who they actually say they are. Do you even remember the strikes? Those villages that were razed by Manwës soldiers? You did it, I did it. We slaughtered the innocents and then our mind was clouded. I let you live so why would I be lying, just as you gave me a chance I will give you one now. Allow a moment of peace with Morgoth. Just a moment. Not as enemies nor strangers, yet at two brothers. If you seek the truth he'll let you see it. No matter who we side with we're monsters.

”Because, Sauron wants to keep us alive. We’re his favorites after all.” Miriel sighed, looking up at her. “I’m sorry, you know. For calling you those names. I know you hate me but we have to work together if we want to survive.”

———-

The two swordsmen went quiet.

”Fine, but first, unhand me.” Eonwë replied, curiously.

“No.” Túrin answered. “I have no need of Morgoth’s deceptions. Eonwë, I apologize, but you are my shield. So, you shall die as my shield.” He spoke to the Maiar.

“Kill Eonwë. If that is the price to pay for Morgoth finally dead, then I shall pay it.”

POW.

Ha’zi could taste Glorfindel’s muddied leathery boot as it smacked into his mouth. He kicked him, once, twice, thrice, grabbed the boy’s bloody face and smashed it into his knee then tossed him onto the mud.

With each kick he asked, “Why?”
“Why did you join them?”
“Why did you have to kill him?”
“Why him?!”
”Why him?!?”

”Alright,” Magath said. He left Daugo to his own devices and began directing the horses and men to head further deeper into the cave.

Strangely, Daugo heard no explosion. No transformation. Not even the thudding of a Giant’s steps. It was all but silent except for the occasional boom far in the distance.

13527980

Sigeric forcefully planted his newly formed greatsword into the ground, stabilizing himself. He conjured thick armour around the Guardian Giant's feet and lower legs, weighing him down. He could do nothing except wait until that bloody obnoxious Screamer ran out of energy.

The Dwarf Giant roared in pain, and Dimitri focused his hardening ability on his arm in an attempt to slow or neutralize the venom. The Dwarf bit down savagely on the Serpent's neck, his indestructible jaws intended to rip the beast in two.

Mirecyla would shrug "Honestly I don't care, I only care for him and currently I have a feeling that we are needed. That or I'm still itching for a fight, or I'm just hungry." She said looking down at her stomach as a low growl filled the cell.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Pyrus would keep hold of Eonwë but turn around him so he could face Cardiloc and Turin. 'Are you really that blind Turin, so full of hate that you can't even consider that Morgoth may not be as evil as you think he is?" He asked, before painfully pointing at Card "No offense but once he's out of the dragon i'll let go. I don't want to get burned alive.

Ha'zi cried out, and started sobbing with each hit, memories of his father's similar beating flooding into his head. How Lod grabbed Ha'zi by the hair and forced his head forward right into his knee. The insults and swearing thrown at the teary boy. The anger, guilt, and sadness flowing through him. It was all too much. All too similar to then...

Lod Mor slammed Ha'zi's bloody face down into the wooden floorboards with a CRACK, leaving a dent. Tears came down like a waterfall on the young boy's face as he begged, pleaded, for his father to stop. The man did no such thing, grief and hatred motivating him way too far. He yanked the boy back up by his hair, and hissed in his ear. "Tell me, you lazy rat. Tell me why you did it. TELL ME WHY YOU KILLED HER TELL ME WHY YOU KILLED DACE
."

Again, Ha'zi's emotional face was smashed into the floor, unable to respond, cries only coming out. Lod snarled and lowered himself down to the boy. "Why.. why did you do it, Ha'zi? Was it because you were such a baby you got so angry your momma decided to not go on any of your dumb jungle get aways, that you couldn't have her all to yourself, so you killed her? Was that why, you piece of shit?"

No, no, it wasn't. It wasn't! Ha'zi tried to tell him, but he couldn't. His father wouldn't listen. "I SHOULD JUST KILL YOU NOW, BOY. But, I will have at least some mercy for the tard that I called my son. You shall get the fate you deserve, filth." And then, Ha'zi's world disappeared all around him as he was sickeningly punished again, everything gone dark.

And now... it happened all over again. He tried pleading with the elf, with no use. "Guhlor-- POW-- stahp eit --CRACK-- P-PLE-- SNAP-- P-PLEZE-- HIT. Ha'zi kept sobbing, his words now mush coming out of his mouth as he was just... broken. 12253360

"That's strange," he mused as they went deeper into the left tunnel. He'd half expected to be blown into oblivion by now, and the curious idiot in him wanted to go and see why that hadn't happened yet. The cautious side of him, however, strongly warned against doing that. After a brief internal struggle, they reconciled, agreeing to go and see if nothing had happened in five minutes. They were, after all, desperately low on food, and they should take any chance to leave Mordor.

That was Daugo's main goal, at this point; to escape this nightmare and warn the Free Peoples about it. He wouldn't wish it on his worst enemy--wait, he did. The thought of the slavers, and a few other choice individuals stuck in this hellhole amused him greatly.

With these thoughts in mind, he waited. If nothing happened in six minutes, he would notify Magath about his going to check, and then do so warily.

Magath nodded and watched the Hobbit leave.

As Daugo approached the exit to the cave he saw the Udun Valley was empty? No. Not empty. The Shifter...was walking away? The man was no longer on fire and had made it a mile away from Daugo by trudging through the burnt ashy grounds, making for the ruins of the Black Gate.

”Don’t look at me.” Miriel laughed silently, “I don’t have any food.”

———

”The only blind one here is you. Blind to Morgoth, blind to this. Blind to the world. This is a waste of the precious time I have left.” He raised the Valar-blade.

”Pyrus, let go of me.” Eonwë whispered to his brother, color=#239edd]”Run, now, he’ll doesn’t care if you kill me. He might just kill us both.”

“Forgive me Eonwë. You understand. If you were in my position, I am sure you would do the same.” Túrin remarked and charged Pyrus and Eonwë with the Valar-blade.

Glorfindel raised his sword above Ha’zi’s Head but then heard his ears began to bleed from the screaming.

Damn monsters. He turned to see the Screaming Giant on the hill, blasting away at the Guardian. All of them were monsters. They all needed to be put down.

He turned around, picked up his swords and sprinted towards the mass of Giants protecting the Screamer.

Ha’zi could see Zaro standing nearby and understood none of it. He had no recollection of the past time as the Warrior Giant but there in front of him he saw its face, staring back at him as it melted away into steam. The boy had no arms but Glorfindel had luckily not chopped off his legs.

The Screaming Giant continued for the next minute, a tunnel of wind funneling down onto Sigeric. His armor protected him but bits of rocks and other debris chipped away and damaged the rest of his body. The ground beneath him began to give way, even as he reinforced it. His own crystal shard became exposed and the chord connecting him to it flailed in the howling gales.

There was an oozing sound and a crunch as Dimitri’s jaws clamped down on the Serpent’s neck. It flailed it’s arms and tail before going still. Blood, guts and some acidic burnt his tongue but his jaws remained undefeated. The Serpent Giant was dead in his grasp, it’s fangs still hooked to Dimitri’s left arm. The arm had burnt up badly and melted, the hardening having little affect against the acid. It would heal once he removed the Serpent.

Berethor recovered from the daze and glanced down at Dimitri. No. No. Evenis. No.
With a roar, the Armoured’s hand clamped down on Dimitri’s hair, ripping and pulling him off the ground.

Tears of joy appeared on his face as his tormentor finally went away. It was done... he was free. Ha'zi sat there in the blood and mud, still sobbing and slowly taking in what almost happened to him.

It all could have ended. Death was this close. Glorfindel... he was ready to behead him. ....Why? Why was this happening? Why was life so cruel to him? What had he done to upset it? To upset that elf? What had he done?

He cared not for the things around him, only the pain. Ha'zi mentally begged, mind screaming for his body to heal. To stop this madness and gave him at least some relief... 12253360

((I dont know about reach so here are the two options. The first being if Pyrus has the greater, the second being if he doesn't.))

Pyrus would curse and throw Eonwë to the side, rushing forward to meet the charge, grabbing ahold of Turins wrist that held the Valar Blade he attempted to jump up and lock his legs around his arm, if succeeding he would land with a oof on the floor, he would then proceed to do a sit-up and push Turins arm forward, but for the man Pyrus would be trying to break and snap his arm, pushing it so that it would touch his back in a ackward angle.

Pyrus would curse and throw Eonwë to the side rushing forward to meet the charge, ducking under the blow Pyrus would attempt to do a double leg takedown, swiftly ramming his shoulder into the mans stomach and lifting him high in the air, jumping to add more effect, while in the air he turned and brought the man down.

Mirecyla would frown "Yeah. Say, what's the deal with locking us up, can't we at least watch?"
