VENTURES INTO THE REMOTE (RP)

With the flash of lightning, Sigeric could see the outline of a Maia above him, raising a fist. The Dalish noble snarled, lifting his own hands towards his adversary's throat with a rush of adrenaline. He clutched the Maia's windpipe with all of his strength, intending to choke him to death.

The Maia punched him in the face. The blow blinded him in one eye whilst the Maia choked, he grabbed ahold of Sigeric’s hands and tried to free his own neck.

After the water spirit ran away Zaro now wielded only 1 dagger and the rapier. Good thing it ran away thought I was gonna after to drink (shakes his head) The elf now focused on Sigeric who was now pinned to the ground. Zaro would now try to silently sneak up behind the maia warrior and then whisper "Boo!" and surprise attack him.

Sigeric, dazed from the punch, focused only on gripping the Maia's throat with all of his strength as his survival instincts took over.

Angry at himself for his lapse in judgment--he had severely underestimated the threat that the shifter could be--and distraught at the fact that the way out was blocked by a man that could burn you by mere proximity, he crawled and limped into the cave, after removing the shark-tooth knife from his shin in one excruciating motion.

He looked at the burning Gondorian with pity, but continued on his way, his compassion a bit drained by fear and exhaustion."Take your clothes off!" he yelled in his direction, the avdise being the sum of his mercy at the moment.

Zaro had no reaction as the Maia and Sigeric were in a battle to the death, both gripping one another.

Instead, a rock hit Zaro smack between the eyebrows.

The Maia’s face turned red then purple as he struggled with Sigeric’s arms, punched the Dalishman, once, then twice, kneed Sigeric in his virgin nether regions, and broke free of the choke-hold, falling of the man and rolling on the floor, coming to a stop next to him whilst gasping for breath.

Sigeric’s face looked like one of Vorondil the Hunter’s Kine of Araw took a shit and mixed it with Pyrus’ overgrown toenails.

The recruit was already throwing his tunic and vest off. His armor, like most of the Gondorians in the Cavalry Regiment was leather and plate, and had been removed when they retreated into the cave originally. The flames decreased as he sprinted further away from the burning man and passed Daugo, breathing heavily and sweating. He had some burns but they were light and barely scratched the skin. He gave Daugo a glance but continued on, taking note of the Hobbit’s size.

Magath rushed Daugo into the cave and the Bucklander saw the world of hurt that had been endowed upon these lowly souls. There was a pile of bodies in one corner, the dead. Those unfortunate enough to still be living were scattered in several other corners. They moved the horses in, keeping them near the mouth of the cave. The fortunate part was that they had more than enough mounts. Daugo lost count at sixty. The unfortunate part was that some of these men couldn’t even continue in their current state. Limbs charred, blackened fingers, singed hair, amputated body parts. It was horrifying. At least on the island, the deaths passed quickly. Here, he could see one boy, no older than his own son, eyes opened, staring at the cave roof, motionless. One of the men tried to feed him a mouldy piece of bread but his mouth refused to open.

The Commander hurried Arandil in and turned to the Hobbit, “I saw you in the House of Orders. The one man from Redhaven spoke and described you as one of those Giants. Do you know who did this? Who that man out there is? Isn’t he a Giant? Did he betray us or....? And how did you even manage to survive this ordeal...? Weren’t you on the other side of the fence with the Elves?”

”Not so fast!” Berethor shouted inside his Giant and reached out to grab Dimitri, missing his arm due to the Dwarf’s speed but catching his leg. He yanked the Dwarf Giant back and the Serpent spat out a glob of acid onto Dimitri’s other leg, melting the limb and dismembering him.

"Oww" Zaro cried in pain and moved his hand over the mark feeling blood. Zaro turned to the direciton where the rock came from and scanned for the threat.

"Further in, I repeat Further IN! If he explodes the blast might even hit us. Keep on going get the horses and injured deeper into the cave, NOW!"He then grabbed a torch to light it up for later and then he picked up an injured man and started to run. "Run, run, RUN! I should have slit the bastard's throat." He said with pure anger and hatred.

Daugo was horrified. He'd made a habit of detaching himself from the incredible suffering he and others around him had endured during the past few months of his life, but this... it was hard to look away from.
"I am indeed one of the Giants," he said in a small voice, before gathering confidence, "which was my one saving grace throughout all this. I transformed in the midst of battle, and managed to divert a few enemy giants and drakes away from the others, but I see now that it was not enough, not nearly enough. I am sorry for everything you've had to go through on this dismal day. I truly am."

He glanced towards the direction Joplin lay writhing in. "As to him," he said, "he's an enemy giant. I suppose he was created by Morgoth after his return. Miserable bastard. He should've been disposed of quickly. How long could we conceivably last inside this cave?"

"Fuck you, cunts!" Dimitri shouted, leaving his giant form and slipping through the Armored giant's grasp, before biting down on his tongue and transforming again in mid-air. He did all the shit needed, purpose, injury, etc., etc., and then tried to go for the Armored giant's leg.

Arandil approached Daugo." If we keep on going down there is a water source of some sorts I found at the end of the cave. It's safe and we still have bottles I took to fill. The food will last us for a bit. But we can't stay here for long. Most of the food we took was burned or destroyed. Only care if any of these crazy Kurs attempt to come in here."

AS FREE AS I'LL EVER BE. The monster took in all its opponents with glee. So much to feast on and slaughter. To feast and slaughter. Feast and slaughter. FEAST AND SLAUGHTER. FEAST. SLAUGHTER.

It focused only on the weak target in its sights now, everything else blurring. With a spine-chilling scream,  it pounced forward at its prey. 12253360

Pyrus would clutch his arm, his blade being dropped was unfortunate, but what he would do to Eonwë would be worse, lucky for Pyrus, he was the shorter one of the two. Dropping down into a crouch similar to how you would ride a horse Pyrus would step forward still in the crouch with his left foot, dropping the mace and grabbing Eonwë's arm, he would then slide his right foot back and to the side of him so his back was facing Eonwë's chest. With both of his arms grabbing ahold of the others he would twist it so his elbow would be facing down and then stand up straight, sending his shoulder into the joint of Eonwë's arm, presumably breaking it, if he could Pyrus would then go to throw Eonwë over his shoulder, hopefully making him land on the mace and break his spine.

Card snarled as the two fought just ahead, he turned his head back to Turin. "See what you can do for him!" The dragon edged forward at a slow pace.

Sigeric struggled to his feet, looking around desperately for a weapon with which to finish off the Maia warrior. Through the storm, he witnessed Dimitri struggling against the enemy Karoltai, and knew that he had to move closer and transform, once freed from the immediate conflict.

”A day, less.” Magath shrugged as they moved further into the darkness of the cave. “The supplies were all destroyed with the blast. Our food is spent and we have spare water as it is.”

“Help-“ One man croaked as he couldn’t walk, Arandil passed him. His brother was just up ahead, he seemed to still be sleeping.

Eonwë’s sword missed as Pyrus crouched and pushed back into him, the Maia’s arm dislocated, dropped his sword and fiercely locked Pyrus’ bald head around his own arm, strangling the Maia of Aulë and pulling backwards.

Túrin looked down at the elf, glanced at the Drake and shook his head. “He may well be felled, O’ Cardiloc the Hybrid. This one will fall by days end unless-“ he looked towards Eonwë, “Help him O’ Cardiloc the Hybrid, he may be this elf’s hope!”

Zaro saw that the stray rock had come from the fight ahead. It was sent flying by the transformation of the Dwarf Giant.

The Dalishman found a shiny metallic glow at the tips of his feet. There was a magnifecent Maia weapon there, a glaive-like star.

Berethor saw Dimitri jump out but before he could grab him, the man transformed again. Damn it. In the blindness that ensued from the transformation, Dimitri was able to race to the left foot of the Armoured Giant. The Serpent fell down and reared its mouth, fangs opening to unleash a spittle of acidic vicious liquid directly into Dimitri’s face. Both were incredibly close to one another. If the Serpent spat, it would be a point-blank hit. If Dimitri moved, he could dodge it. However, would he move with the Armoured blinded for a few seconds?

There was a loud scream through the fighting. It did not come from the Screaming Giant but rather from the Warrior.

Celeborn had listened to Zaro and turned around but now glanced back to see the Warrior Giant, leaping through the air at him. The beast crashed down on Lord Celeborn, whether squashing him, grabbing ahold of him or biting him, it would decide. The elf seemed to mouth something, perhaps a prayer and realized that Ha’zi must have joined the Enemy, yet, the realization itself came too late...

"I'm too large, if I try to intervene I risk harming Eonwe as well. You must go, I will be on hand to support if needed." Card reasoned with the shakespearian Turin.

Pyrus would curse mentally, lifting one leg he brought it down hard on Eonwë's foot, meanwhile he tried to elbow the Maia, once, twice, thrice and stopping. Lifting his hand to try and rake his face or dig his fingers into his eyes.

"Heloooooooo." She would call out. "Anyone here?"

Daugo frowned when he heard of the food situation. If what the Gondorian that had taken him in had said was true, they should not worry overmuch about the water supply; but food for one day was quite critical. He glanced at them, and he saw dead men.
"And if we were to ration the food?"
