VENTURES INTO THE REMOTE (RP)

Outside of the dinning room, Cardiloc found himself in another wooden hall. Aranel lead him back towards the room he had awoken in and opened the door to allow him in. A small brown cat rushed out and slunk up to the woman's legs, curling its tail against her. She bent down slightly to pat its head and motioned with a nod of her head. "This is where you'll be staying."

There was a sigh. It felt to Dimitri almost like resignation. This was followed by the blindfolds being pulled down past his nose and suddenly light filtered through and he could see. He was in a dark cave with no major light source except for thousands of tiny glowworms which illuminated the area around him briefly. Ahead of him was a huge figure. It's body covered in coal-like armor. He glimpsed the back of its head for a second before it placed on that dreaded black helm. Was that blonde hair he espied?

Suddenly, the beast turned around to gaze upon the Forochelrim and asked, "Why is it that you weep so much? Is it for your own doom? Do you fear death that much, Dimitrius?"

-------------------

The King addressed their demands in an orderly fashion.

"We shall have time for one later." He answered Sigeric.
"Consider this done, Master Hobbit. Your family shall receive the utmost care. I have close friends in the Shire who shall see to this. You and your comrades shall also receive an income atop this as well as stable living conditions so long as I retain life. You may give the specific details of your family to the scribe on your way out." He told Daugo.
"This is a given," Aragorn stated to Ha'zi. "You shall have the finest weapons and materials provided to you."
"Master Dwarf, the forges of Minas Tirith are some of the best in the West. They are at your disposal. However, I am unsure it is wise to leave so soon. We have yet to organize plans with which to rally the Free Peoples and on that matter how to deal with these externals threats we face. I'm afraid I must ask you remain in the city...for the next three days at the very least so that any plans are understood beforehand. Then you may have your leave."

"I have the same fears. Let me speak to the King." Magath said to Arandil and waited until Aragorn had finished speaking. Then he raised his hand and spoke when called upon.

"My King, as the de facto commanding officer of the expedition with the deaths of Crandil, Celeborn and Amandil all taken into account, I must warn you that the enemy Giants are not to be discounted. They are of extreme threat to us. We managed to capture one, as I'm sure you're aware, your Highness. Yet, he was slain under the orders of them and permitted by Celeborn," Magath shook his head at the Karoltai, "We could not extract any information from this enemy shifter before they slew him and saved their friend through some mystical magic. His legs were broken and somehow grew back. The friend in question is a lad they call Marco. He seems Gondorian and appears to have joined the expedition with them. Currently, he has been in a deep slumber for the past fortnight. The Giant that was slain to save his life had decimated nearly eighty percent of my regiment with a blast of fire that I will never forget. The sheer flames turned six hundred men to dust and scarred another hundred for life. It was horrific, my Lord."

Magath continued, "These enemy Giants possess abilities that could level Minas Tirith to the ground should one manage to enter the city. Two of them inserted themselves into the regiment before leaving for the expedition. We do not know how they managed to do this or how they knew our plans beforehand. We can only assume the worst. There are traitors in our midst."

"Alright well, night." He nodded to Aranel, stifling a yawn, the Dunlending then walked into the room and crashed out onto the bed, asleep within moments.

"To be honest... I think that's more of a 'were' than an 'are'." Ha'zi meekly responds. "The only reason those two were there was so that no one could turn around and flee from the slaughter. As for the other, s-she intended to kidnap and take me to Morgoth's Fortress. So, I'm pretty sure... I'm pretty sure that they infiltrated us just for that occasion. Though, it could still be a possibility that there are more since all of the... traitors... came to join us from around here."

Aranel smiled a bit watching that. She slowly shut the door, picked up the cat in her arms and walked off, the candlelight flickering off as she passed through the hall, plunging the world into darkness.

Cardiloc dreamt happy dreams. Dreams of him hunting on a field and catching a great elk. He slept well and after an unknown amount of time slowly, groggily did he re-awaken. The room was dark and he was thirsty.

--------------

Magath raised an eyebrow and turned on Ha'zi.

"She?" He asked confused. "There was a third one....? Who?"

"Some redheaded woman calling herself Miriel who entered the expedition through Ha'zi's privates and lodged herself in his mind. Tch." It was Glorfindel who answered.

Aragorn watched with interest. Arandil saw that the Haradrim boy was clearly hiding something. He definitely knew more than he was letting on.

"Another three days?" Thoruk asks himself, not happy to hear that. But before he could say something a gondorian spoke up. "Ya know, we weren't able to find the traitors at the first place, how should we find them now?" he asks the gondorian before turning towards the king. "Three days... do ya have a training ground and maybe some axes? If I can spend some time training I won't bother you anymore." he says before going quiet again.

"Fear not Haradrim. Speak freely, tell us all that you know. For every little bit of information can prove more than useful in our darkest hour." He said calmly, trying not to put pressure on Ha'zi and wishing things would not get heated.

Aragorn merely nodded to Thoruk as the conversation became more dramatic.

"What?" Magath was taken aback. "He fucked the enemy?" He said aloud.

One of the Black Rangers scoffed. All eyes were on Ha'zi and Magath.

From that particular comment by a particular elf, heat inundated Ha'zi's cheeks. Wishing to quickly defend himself, the lad spoke up then, but was unfortunately quite shaky in his response. "F-first off, she was the traitor I referenced at the beginning of this meeting. Secondly...," he paused for a moment at Magath's newest comment, even more heat transferring to his face. The Haradrim took a brief, aggravated sigh.

"Look, I know this is an important matter, but I don't feel comfortable with this shit you are saying about me, and in the worst way and at the worst location possible, but I guess I'll just answer, albeit shortly. So," he sighs again, "yes I... did that. Did I or any of us realize she was an enemy shifter whatsoever? No, not at all. Same thing for the other two, who were with the Gondorians 24/7, so can't blame us for them."

"I do not believe any of the Gondorians were making love to one another whilst on a military venture." Glorfindel remarked nonchalantly.

"Hold on. You mentioned something about a Mordor fortress?"

"Morgoth's fortress." Glorfindel corrected the man, "There was a castle deep into the plains of Gorgoroth. Mordor is transfigured. Likely due to the power of the Enemy. He has situated himself there. Of course."

"Describe the traitor," Captain Varadamir asked them all. "I want specifics. And what exactly are we going up against? If we're to somehow catch or even intend to fight these enemy Giants we need more information. What are their weaknesses aside from the current intelligence we have on your lot. Display it all here and now. I want descriptions, physical attributes, everything. Even the one that was captured and killed. Start writing this down, scribe. Memorize this stuff to the letter, lads." He indicated to his men who spread across the Merethrond.

"There is something that we must take advantage of. After the madman exploded and wiped out almost all of the regiment and the other giants returned to there normal bodies, they could not transform back. That madman and the hobbit with me could have transformed and settled it between them but they didn't. Not because they didn't want to, but because they couldn't transform. The hobbit told me he needed 2 days after transforming to return back to his normal self. We can take advantage of that , can we not?"

Ha'zi forces himself to ignore Glorfindel's comment, and so he begins, obviously about Miriel. "So, she has long, red hair, green eyes, a freckled face, and is about my height. For her giant, it was... well... hm... I'll just say like inside out was the way the appearance was, like all the muscles and skin, fleshy, I guess. It's pretty odd of a sight. Besides general appearance, her form had a long, bone-like spike for an arm at times, sometimes she could harden her fists with crystals, and, lastly, was very quick in movements and in fighting. That's all I can think of for Miriel's giant at the moment."

"Water..." He muttered in a gasping voice, his throat was parched, the Dunlending slowly got up and searched for water.

Iver listened to the conversation, those filthy hypocritical gondorians. They didn't do a thing to stop Miriel from joining and completely ignored the fact that a girl joined them. They did not have the right to bully Hazi, only he had that right. He didnt like those annoying gondorians, and he wanted to get back at them.
"You know," Iver said, "You guys really dont have the right to criticize Hazi's action without seeing the full picture"

Arandil who was neither against nor with Ha'zi during the whole conversation stood up and said:
"Tell us the full picture good man. I would love to hear someone say something in defense of the Haradrim. He seems to be very timid about this subject. You might have the courage to speak up at least. "

Upon seeing that Aragorn isn't realy listening to him Thoruk decides to stop the smaltalk and listen to what his fellows decide to tell and what not to tell to the gondorians. "Aye, maybe Arandil might help me finding the blacksmith later" Thoruk thinks as he listens to the others. "Training some elements in my normal form might not be a fault aswell..." he thinks before going quiet even in his thoughts and waiting for the others to finish their conversations.

"Well, Although this information was intended to the king's ears only i suppose those in this room are trustworthy enough in his eyes" He said and paused for a moment, waiting for the king's approval.
"You see, Hazi knew she was an enemy shifter" He said an paused to let the idea sink for a little bit, "Although he didn't know about it a the beginning, he and i found out that she was a shifter, Hazi found it by seeing her shifter tattoo while they had some 'private time'. It took me a while to convince him but at the end he agreed that we need to get the most out of the situation, we agreed that we will not uncover her because if one shifter entered so easily more might be hiding in the group. We tried to figure out her intentions and found out that she is probably there to seduce him so she can take him out easily and it played into our hands, as hazi had to do nothing special so our plan will work" He paused again.
"In the battlefield we both got captured, hoping that they will lead us into the castle so we can acquire maiar blades and get some intelligence, maybe even kill some of the giants. They took hazi away and i was left alone, but i had to keep on the mission" Iver stopped one last time. "Thanks to that i have the knowledge of the structure of the castle, the enemy snifters and their further actions"
Iver crossed his legs and leaned in his chair, this sure will blow the wind out of the gondorian's proud sails.

"That's a lie." Sigeric said calmly looking at his half brother "For claiming yourself to be a very smart man you lack quiet a few necessary things to back your claim. We, the Karolti, may have secrets but we have formed a bond somewhat like to what brothers have. We have gone through hell and back together, so learning this information and not telling the rest of us is a lie. What is truthful however is your goal to get inside the fortress, isint that right? Now, tell us the god damned truth onto why you were inside Morgoths fortress." Sigeric said with an icy tone, willing to let his secret be jeopardized

"I am beginning to like you" He said to Iver. "But your friend seems to be a more serious man, no offence. So ill take his word. So, tell us what you're hiding. Were not dangerous to you, all we seek is more knowledge and your purposes and possibilities of you people actually fucking help a kingdom that has gone through thousands of years of hell."

While all of these arguments have been going on, the Haradrim lay quiet, puzzled and pondering over how badly Iver fucked them all over with his words. And how much he wished access to those weapons right at this moment... but mostly about fear over what the King and his attendees will say and react.
