VENTURES INTO THE REMOTE (RP)

As the Giants tore into him, Sigeric knew that he was completely safe inside his crystal. Yet, it would be a shame to waste a transformation like this. Fortunately, Ha'zi soon came to his aid, cutting away the foul vermin. Sigeric surveyed the battlefield. It was worse than he thought. The Guardian Giant spoke, having reformed. "Ha'zi, we need to stop- ...Ha'zi?" The Warrior Giant held pure savagery in its eyes. Sigeric noticed the distinctive blades on its arms. So he was mimicking that spy? It seemed that he could not control his rage, though Sigeric did not know whether it came from the innate power of the Savage Giant, or Ha'zi's emotional connection to its shifter. The Guardian Giant quickly channeled his energy, creating a short barrier between the Warrior Giant and the group of riders that was approaching them, delaying the Gondorians and forcing them to take a different route. Sigeric focused his telepathy, projecting into Ha'zi's mind. "Ha'zi, I need you to calm down. Can you hear me?"

"Oh, I shall," he said with a smirk. "I only hope that I won't accidentally kill anyone if I display my full capabilities. They do tend to involve a certain risk, after all."

"Very well Miriel, we will be on our wa-it what?" Iver asked confused. "What happened to 'I'd prefer if our paths never crossed again, Iver'" He asked a second question.

“Perfect.” Rambo thought, he’d sheath his scimitar quickly and hold on to the armoured giant with his hook for dear life.

"You know too much. We need insurances. One of you must remain under our care." She worded it carefully.

Lasser's expression was unreadable. Yellena and Equas listened closely.

"Huh?" Arcuturs mumbled at the change in tone.

The column of soldiers passed, paying little heed. One man saw Hering and looked away twice as fast.

"Eh?" He glanced at the two men standing behind Daugo. One's foot tapped impatiently. "Is this true?"

"Yes, sir." Galador nodded.

"Humbug. You can't be that dangerous, lieutenant? Surely?" The irony was ripe.

BOOOM.

The Armoured Giant leapt onto the back of the Behemoth, ripped into its flesh and began to climb to its boiling neck. There it opened its mouth and bit into the flesh, tearing out a fair chunk and spitting it then repeating until eventually coming to a stop. It dropped.

DUUSSSHH.

Then began to walk around the decaying steaming body of the Leviathan Giant. Throughout the entire ride, Rambo was hanging on by a thread and the hook had threatened to give way thrice yet it remained stuck. He could hear someone screaming louder than the rumblings that occurred when Mumaks walked the ground and the Armoured was moving in that direction.

"Well that's a problem, Arandil need to take care of his brother, Thoruk need to prepare the dwarves for the war against Morgoth and i need to find my missing sister. I can leave parts of me behind if you really want but that seems unnecessary" Iver said.

"This is non-negotiable, Iver. It's either all of you stay or only one of you. Whoever does will be looked after because if not you can expose us. And if you expose us, well, we have one of your companions. I don't like it but this is the way things must be until we can learn to fully trust one another." Miriel said blankly.

"Give us a moment" Iver said before switching to dwarvish "Thoruk, we cant really stay here. We got shit to do and other stuff. I suggest that you take Arandil to the city under the mountain and ill join you later. I doubt they can really stop me from leaving, agreed?"

That son of a bitch, Rambo grumbled. He put his feet against the scales of the giant and began to climb above its buttocks.

"Hm... I would've gone away from here anyways if you said I should be left here, but you tricking them seems fair enaugh. Although, I count on you lad, if you can't get out of here we need a secret way to get in contact lad. Can ya think about something?" Thoruk would ask his comrade.

"Well, they didn't say that we cant come and leave as we please, so you can just come here and talk with me in dwarvish or dalish" Iver replied in Dalish

"Hm, seems fine to me. So it's decided." Thoruk would answer in Khuzdul, yet a bit surprised that Iver was able to speak in dwarvish.

"Well, it seems that we have an agreement" Iver said, returning to the common tongue, "Thoruk will look for my sister after he will bring Arandil to Tirith while ill stay here and try to convince you to let me leave" Iver replied to Miriel.

Iver was speaking in Dalish or so Thoruk misconceived. The dialects did have a few commonalities and similar terms.

"So long as no armies come upon us, then we're fine. Oh and tell that one," Miriel looked at Arandil, "Hey, you, I don't know what sort of authority or position you have back in your kingdom of fools but if you do have any please release our friends. If you can, we'll let Iver go immediately. Otherwise, it'll be only until we can fully trust your friends to not reveal our location to any others."

Rambo found it too difficult to scale the gluteus maximus of the beast. He'd need to find another way to get up there. The incline was too great and he was lacking the fortitude to continue.

Meanwhile elsewhere, black rangers converged upon the Screaming Giants. Weapons were primed and two rows of horsemen split from the original two, dividing into four. Two of which went for its feet whilst the remainder circled at a distance.

Yet the Screamer was too busy. It seemed occupied in searching for something.

"WHERE ARE YOU, SLAYER?! HUH-"

He noticed the tiny horsemen charging him from the front. Suddenly, he heard something. Crack. He turned and saw the Slayer crouched in the foliage above a branch.

"THERE YOU ARE!"

Before Tytus could shout something embedded itself in his knee. An arrow? Then another projectile hit his other knee. Then one in his hamstring. Ha. What did they thi-

KA-BOOOOOOOMMM!!!

The Screaming Giant's kneecaps exploded followed by it toppling backward like a drunken disorderly man. It hit the ground and propped itself up madly as it stared at the riders. What were those? Flaming arrows? Spears? No, they didn't matter. The Slayer. Where was he? There! He was running past the riders at speeds Tytus couldn't fathom.

"FUCK!"

Tytus screamed involuntarily at the horrific sight.

"KILL THAT RUNT!!!!!"

He willed the riders to his command and they began the process of giantization just as the Slayer ran through their ranks. He froze for a moment in deliberation and watched.

WHOOSH. WHOOSH. WHOOSH. WHOOSH. WHOOSH. And many more followed as a horde of giants spawned directly upon the Slayer. Tytus laughed and slowly got back up, his legs steaming and healing.

"I hope you don't mind the company, Slayer. Your friends seemed to have gotten a bit larger. I'm sure you'll serve them well.....as lunch! HA HA HA!!"

Berethor came around the corner. "What the hell is he doing?" He said to himself inside the nape of the Giant. "We have the Leviathan Shifter. Now let's leave before anyone else appears." He glanced at the Warrior and Guardian Giants which were nearby and grunted.

"As ya wish lad, watch out and don't get ya self into any problems." Thoruk would answer in Khuzdul before Iver asked for a place to stay.

"I shall try to convince my King, but I am but a Lance Corporal. Maybe I'm not even that anymore, but I will try. My friend, who is a trusted captain, might be able to help." Arandil would say not certain of anything he just said.

Hering would continue to sob and scream until the patrol was well out of hearing distance, sniffling he'd stand and wipe his face with his sleeve. "Can't take any chances. You'll report I was hit very hard on the head making me loose my senses of respect and authority. I'll apologize if needed and we play it out from there. Any objections?"

The hobbit chuckled, accustomed to being underestimated. "I could wipe Minas Tirith off the map in less than five minutes, if I set my mind to it and was fully rested. But I'm not one for needless violence." He paused. "What is going on in Minas Tirith, while on that matter? It didn't seem like things were good."
