VENTURES INTO THE REMOTE (RP)

Just as he was about to move on to the next targets, the Warrior heard a rather familiar voice come to him that momentarily surpassed his clouded, rage-filled state: "Ha'zi, I need you to calm down. Can you hear me?" He paused, then recognized and remembered it: it was Sigeric. Sigeric... He turned, and then noticed another nearby Giant available for slaughter. The Guardian. At that moment, his brain confused friend from foe as he began to charge at the now exposed Giant, deadly arm swords ready to deal some damage.

To rid his back of Telimekhtar, Dimitri pounded forward on all fours, then attempted a flip to crush Him.

Telimekhtar anticipated such a move and rushed upwards on Dimitri's back, grabbing ahold of the Dwarf's neck with his meaty arms and pulling tightly as Dimitri reared up. The Dwarf Giant was being strangled by the Son of Tulkas in a chokehold.

"Do we have room?" Lasser asked at Iver's question.,

"Tytus'...?" Yellena said.

"I'd rather they not stay with us," Equas interjected.

"You may stay in our companions rooms. Unless they show up sometime tonight you'll be fine. You'll all share Tytus' cabin. Dinner is in four hours. Miss it and starve. I want you two," Miriel pointed at Arandil and Thoruk, "Gone by the morning. And Iver, if there are any more shenanigans, I will hunt you down and I will kill you. Mark my words on that. Does everyone understand me?"

"None." Arcturus said. "Remember your place, though, Sargeant Hering." They departed the scene.

Hering noticed quite a following of soldiers swarming the sixth level gate. What was happening? Had the King returned? They had not been given any indication to whether or not he was here.

"Haha," The admiral laughed at Daugo's antics. "You have my interest, lieutenant, alas I won't be able to attend considering the dockyard drills at Pelargir need to be overseen." He then proceeded to answer the question, "Ah, yes. The capital was attacked. Dreadful really. Many dead, mostly soldiers I hear. But still a tragedy. Apparently it were others of your predisposition. A certain couple rogues. They destroyed the Citadel after attempting to assassinate the King or I've been told..."

"What the fuck is that thing?" Berethor saw a deranged giant with bone-arms running at the Guardian. "Fuck this, let's leave. Come on, Ty," He continued to march towards his friend.

Rambo saw a few possible ways to the top. If he could hook around the side of the buttock he could scale it vertically without the disadvantage of the incline. But if he wanted to descend it would be tricky with the bastard walking. And if he began charging...there was no chance in hell the hook would hold. He needed to move quickly.

Meanwhile, the Screaming was playing with its food. A score of giants rushed in to consume Glorfindel while Tytus watched in almost childlike glee.

Are those...my allies? One of the giants opened its mouth, saliva dribbling out and leaped at Glorfindel. He banked left and slipped under its grasp, cutting through its fingers with the maiar blade.
Do I know them? Another jumped for him and he barely fell backward in time. He saw its ugly mangled face and noticed something.
I know you, don't I? You were one of the rangers? Eromndil? Is that you? The giant smiled almost in recognition. "Eromndil?" It swiped its hand at Glorfindel. He leaped up and onto it, then jumped on its head. Another giant smashed Eromndils head in response. Glorfindel slid down onto its neck and glanced at the nape. Are you in there Eromndil? He looked up at all the others which were racing in, jaws agape ready to devour him. Are all of you still there?

Tytus smiled as they surrounded the elf. Now it was over. The Slayer would not survive this. He glanced up to see the Leviathan finished, Berethor walking around it and Evenis fighting some horsemen in the distance, and to his left beyond the mass of giants that would be ripping the Slayer apart, was a marauding Warrior Giant attacking the Guardian. This was too easy. Now all that was left was to deal with those pesky Gondorians and leave. He had run low on energy to giantize them so he'd have to do it the old fashioned way. With his fists clasped, Tytus stood and walked towards the largest squadron of riders.

Sigeric saw the state of the battlefield as well. His allies were being slaughtered and pitted against one another and the enemy was on the brink of victory. It seemed the option of leaving had turned to full-blown annihilation. This battle. This could be where it all ended. And now that imbecile Ha'zi would be the death of him...

Time wasn’t a resource he could waste, and he needed to bring something back to Minas Tirith after this forsaken mission, Rambo held on tight and moved the hook to the side of the buttocks and began to scale the giant quickly.

"Well, you will have to be faster than Glorifindel" Iver muttered to himself.
"So, where is that cabin you talked about?" he asked.

Once over the gluteus maximus, Rambo found it easier to climb the back. He was halfway there. Just a little more...

"Yellena will show you." Miriel said.

The big woman nodded and walked off expecting them to follow without a single word.

Iver followed Yellena. However, he did not follow her expectations and tried to start a small talk "So..... How long have you guys lived here?" He asked her.

"So, Arandil, how do you plan on going back to Gondor, do you think that Thoruk can convince the dwarves to give you a mount and supplies?" Iver asked the Gondorian after realizing that Yellena will not respond for a while.

"This aggressive nature... I'd rather kill her than follow the commands of a mere woman. She reminds me of that other woman... yet for the sake of our all folks I have to endure these shitpiles till the sun raises." Thoruk would think to himself. Thoruk would merely nod at Miriel's question and follow Yellena to the place where they could stay for the night. "2 hours? At this point I'd eat anything" he'd say to his fellows. "I will see what I can do lad" Thoruk would answer Iver's question instead of Arandil. "Yellena? What exactly do you want from us for you to trust us? It would help us all out to atleast know what we can do." Thoruk would ask, hoping for an answer.

"why change something that works so well?" Iver asked with a smile on his face, arandil was way more cheerful than thoruk, he would miss them for those two days of waiting before he will get the fuck out of this shit hole.

"We live a good life Iver, may it never change" he would say smiling back at his weird but fun brother from another mother.

Hering would nod and begin to walk away when he saw the mass of soldiers, what was it? Digging a finger in his ears he'd se if he could fix them before running over to see what the commotion was.

Pain swelled in his ears and when Hering removed his fingers he'd see a collection of earwax and blood plastering them. For some reason, his coordination was off and he couldn't walk straight.

The soldiers marched up towards the citadel.

"Yes," The admiral answered. "The King is off on important duties abroad. In his stead, Lord Romestamor rules the capital. I've been notified that General Belzagar has been dispatched to muster the garrisons of Anorien against the threat."

"Here we are," Yellena muttered showing the trio to a small cabin at the heart of the village. It was quaint and the innards were spare and clean. "There's the bed. You'll have to share." She smirked. The bed was a small mattress laid across the floorboards. There was a single table with four small stools and no kitchen. This cabin was homely but quite a joke for three men to attempt to inhabit.

Slowly but surely Rambo reached the right shoulder of the Armoured. He could see the battlefield from there. The Screaming was up and walking away from a mess of giants which were chasing something small dashing amongst their feet; a hybridized Warrior Giant was attacking the Guardian Giant for some reason; there were dozens of Gondorian patrol units riding about, some cut off from each other by spikes and a few engaging the large serpent. It was unclear who was winning. But what was clear was that he would be seen by the ugly Screamer if it came closer, which it was...

Hering would look at his finger with confusion, suddenly finding himself falling to the left as if the world had been tilted. Landing hard on his side he'd let out a grunt, rolling over onto his knees and lifting himself up. Putting his hands on the stone floor he stared at the pattern, wondering what the he'll was wrong with him. He'd continue if able to watch the guards

All he needed to do was reach the armoured giants nape, just a little bit further. He slowly away from the shoulder to the back, then gradually climbed up to the nape. If all was well once he was there, he'd unsheathe his scimitar and after lodging his hook deep inside a chink in the armour, he'd slowly begin to cut through the nape with his blade.
