Tanithil took Dimitri's hand and graciously stood, "You are a fine warrior and you bested me, good sir." She bowed her head in respect.
"I am pleased to meet your acquaintance. My name is Tanithil, daughter of Tanithor." The words rolled off her lip like honey in her exquisite accent.

Blood rushed through Miriel as she cleaned up and clothed herself, waited a while to see if Ha'zi would return then stood up and walked out of the tent, avoiding any onlookers and returning to her own tent.
On the way there, she noticed the two Gondorians from before. Even and Berethor, watching her. She continued, ignoring them until she reached her tent.
"Fuck," She yelled at herself when alone. Her hand was shaking, her body twitching. No. No.
"No!"
She took deep breaths, calming her body. She couldn't break here. If she did the entire mission would be in vain. Her body calmed down and her rage slowly receded.
It was all for the mission. She couldn't get pregnant. Even if she did, it didn't matter. She'd ignored the idea of a baby but couldn't any longer. She'd get rid of it. Yes. Why bring life into this cruel, murderous world? If she had a baby....
Sauron would take it and experiment on it just like he did to her and all of them. No. She couldn't allow it. But, then again, she hasn't had any issues yet. Perhaps she shouldn't worry about it. Yes. Just worry about the mission. Her eyes glanced out of the tent to the two Gondorians, laughing with their mates. So many of them would die. And she would be the one to kill them. Yes. That's all that mattered. Getting back to the others with Ha'zi. Sauron promised her their freedom. She would have it. Maybe if Ha'zi compromised then he...
No. He was a stupid boy. A fucking stupid boy. She meant nothing to her. She was his target and that was it. Nothing more, nothing less. A target.

The Udun Valley was black and ashen with patches of rocky desert strewn between the ruined land.
"SCOUT TEAMS, DISPATCH!" Crandil shouted from the rear. A dozen Gondorians and Noldorin Soldiers broke off from right and left sides of the column, spreading out through the valley. Ahead of them, Lord Celeborn's retainers including Glorfindel rode forth towards the entrance to the Plateau of Gorgoroth ahead of them.
"What do we do if we see the Armoured Giant?" Marco asked Iver and Thoruk, Cardiloc over hearing as they rode together.
Miriel remained quiet as they rode forward, dark shadows beneath her eyes.
