Margoz is better known as, 'The Easterling' by everyone as he is, literally, the only Easterling among the group. However, if you want me to give you a specification instead of using just your nickname, then just PM one to me. <3

14628767 The Dimitri, Deslan, Margoz and Iver ones are spot on.

16191695 Why is Elodrin giving birth to a terrified chihuahua?

I am rather speculative about Grimnir and Sigeric's relationship. Whether they'll be able to cooperate or even come to terms is fascinating considering the bad blood between. Is it more likely that they'll fight the slavers instead of each other or vice versa?

12519458 I intentionally just want an old guy with a sword but this is the only picture I can find in DuckDuckGo.

Recap:
-The 'group'/band of characters/heroes started in Bree. Most were travelers with or without missions e.g Margoz, Sigeric, Dimitri, Iver, Thoruk and Grimnir. Some lived in or near Bree e.g Daugo and Elodrin.

-All characters *except Deslan*, due to various factors but most prominently the heavy rain in Bree, entered the Prancing Pony and had a drink or occupied a seat. Some interacted with one another e.g Margoz and Iver, Thoruk and Daugo. Others remained isolated or interacted with bar characters like the innkeeper or Barliman Butterburr e.g Grimnir, Dimitri, Sigeric.

-A bar fight broke out due to a hobbit tripping a large man which landed on Dimitri's table leading to everyone having a mini clash. It escalated when bandits entered and started looting unconscious people, threatening others and demanding tribute from the group.

- This led to characters fighting the bandits (Dimitri, Elodrin, Sigeric, Thoruk, Margoz) and others remaining indifferent or hiding (Grimnir, Daugo, Iver).

- The heroes won, slaying the bandits, which unfortunately led to their arrest by the local Bree-land guards who were actually friends with the bandits and quite corrupt. Margoz, Iver, Sigeric, Dimitri, Elodrin and Thoruk were arrested and imprisoned in the Bree barracks as a result. Deslan ended up joining them as he was caught pickpocketing the Mayor's son at around the same time the bar fight was occurring.

-Daugo managed to escape any trouble, same as Grimnir, however, found his wife in bed with another hobbit and lost his shit, killing the hobbit, who was his friend and co-worker. Before he left Bree he was caught by the local guards who his wife had ratted off a story that he attacked her and his friend savagely and attempted to murder their children. All the proof they needed was the dead friend and Daugo, too, was arrested and imprisoned. He would later join them in the Slaver Ship.

-Meanwhile at the Bree Barracks the guards wanted to transport the prisoners, not to execute them, but rather to sell them and make some coin (corrupt guards as per usual). Grimnir attempted to convince the Bree Captain to release some of the prisoners (Thoruk, Iver) while also stating to execute others (mainly Sigeric, who Grimnir hates for some personal reasons). The captain doesn't oblige and Grimnir kills him, tripping the Barracks alarms.

- The guards attempting to escort the prisoners away received retaliation and a small battle broke out. However, this was so incredibly one sided it ended within a few minutes. Dimitri, Thoruk, Elodrin and Grimnir managed to substantially kill and wound some guards however along with the rest - Deslan, Sigeric, Iver, Margoz - eventually fell and were captured.

- All heroes awake in the hull of a Slaver Ship along with other characters, slaves and the pirates/slavers that run the ship. The heroes are in very bad conditions, lack anything to defend themselves, are chained to the walls of the ship, unable to escape or fight, dehydrated and starved and on top of that receive pretty shitty food and water. Unbeknownst to the rules of the slavers, the heroes provoke the Slaver Whipper who viciously beats Dimitri, on two occasions, for talking loudly. Dimitri sacrifices himself in order to protect his fellow slave-mates and survives the beatings albeit being left in a fatal condition with many injuries.

That's the crux of the story up till this point.

Characters and their relationships:
Daugo Burgins:
A hobbit from Bree, scarred by the recent tragic events that led to him being aboard the Slaver Ship, who masks his emotions yet still provides aid to the heroes. The woes he has suffered are unbeknownst to the rest of the heroes as he has yet to divulge them. He shares some kinship with Thoruk but not a major degree. Daugo has recently distanced himself from the group as a result of his internal issues.

Thoruk:
A dwarf of the Iron Hills who lost his family to the Servants of Sauron. He was a relatively unscathed character throughout the story so far and has suffered no major wounds. He shares some kinship with Grimnir and Daugo.

Grimnir:
A mysterious dwarf known as the Crimson Beard, who ironically, has a white beard, and is of the eastern branch of dwarves, however, has family in the Blue Mountains. He is a legendary fighter or so he believes and has a strong will and is probably the most stubborn character in the entire story. Grimnir suffered some injuries to his legs and his stubbornness has made him less able to fight as he refuses to eat even a morsel of food. He holds enmity for Sigeric for rather unjustified reasons. He slightly dislikes some members of the group but not to an obvious degree. He holds kinship with Thoruk, albeit, the dwarf being half-witted in his opinion. So far obtaining the most kills so far, take that any way you like.

Sigeric:
A Dalish noble sent on a mission by King Brand to Bree to meet a ranger of the Dunedain who inconveniently did not show up. He fought bravely during the Prancing Pony fight and Bree Barracks skirmish but lost his battles, quite pathetically, may I add. He suffered many bruises but no major injuries. He is skilled with the halberd but like the rest of the heroes, is missing his weapon. There is bad blood between him and Grimnir for the reason that Grimnir continually wishes him death. He has rather formal relations with the other characters.

Elodrin:
A Gondorian Captain retiree who settled down outside of Bree as, essentially, a redneck lumberjack farmer. Yeah. He is quite old and doesn't lack skill with weapons. He fought valiantly in the Prancing Pony fight and decently without a weapon in the Bree Barracks. He isn't that talkative and maintains formal relations with the other characters, distancing himself from them in most occasions.

Margoz:
An Easterling, previously a merchant, suffering from the regrets and woes of his past. Much similar to Daugo, however, has generally moved on to a degree from his grief. He suffered the loss of his 'true love' and was essentially forced to kill her and endure her death as she was an apparent spy. He lived a life similar to many a middle class Rhunnic man but left after those troubles in order to escape the wounds of his past. He just traveled, drank, and avoided those memories that haunted his dreams and eventually found himself in Bree. He fought, as well as he could, in both battles and has received a few blows but nothing major. He is probably the glue of the group, managing to pull them together in desperate moments. His relations more relaxed, he is quite talkative comparatively, and seems to remain calm headed among the disparities and grievances suffered by the group. Kind of the mom of this story.

Iver:
Err....this one is weird. He ran away from Dale and a luxurious life as a merchant. But remained a merchant and brought his wares to Bree. Got caught up in the fiasco of the Prancing Pony, ended up sticking with the group against his own will. Originally, he was the largest racist in the world. He probably makes Trump jealous. He hated Margoz for being an Easterling and tried to run away from him out of fear. Then he was wary of everyone in the group except the dwarves and Sigeric, another Dalishman. Then he sort of grew to be fine with each member. He maintains mostly formal relations and has distanced himself from Margoz quite a lot. He has somewhat of a kinship with Thoruk and Sigeric, however.

Dimitri:
Oh baby. The war machine. Dimitri's backstory is pretty simple. Lost his arm to orcs. Survived. Big tank. Yup. He slew many bandits and guards during both battles and has retained heavy injuries, mostly from the Slave Whipper. He gave himself up as a sacrifice to the Whipper in order to take the blame for breaking the Slaver Rules in the latest installment of the role play and as a consequence suffered heavy damage and is exposed to fatal diseases.

Deslan:
The least RPed character and for a reason. Caught for pickpocketing, did decently in the prison fight, locked up in the Slaver Ship like the rest of the heroes. Hasn't really done much and has suffered major injuries. Like the rest of the characters he is starved and dehydrated with a bad headache.

That's the update. It took me a shit long time to write this and some parts are just paraphrasing. Apologies if I messed up someone's backstory.
