It's because the powergaming piece of pork is using supposed secret entrances from the timhe "rebuilt Erebor". I refuse to capitulate.
((Never said that, I'm not making anything up and I won't use anything not supported by movies or books.))
Yeah thu, he was joking around. Just keep playing.
Strong move tim. Thu, how do you react to the charging mumakil?))

Thalin watches as the Mumakil charge at 4,000 tons of steel, stone, and rubble. His ballistae swivel, aiming for the Mumakil, waiting for them to get in range. His archers draw bows, notch arrows, are ready to let loose. They're in the higher levels of the ramparts, high enough so only the strongest bows can reach them. The rest of his troops wait inside the gate.

The silence seems to continue, when in the distance, east of Dale, a group of about 5.000 Haradrim marches towards the city, with an aprox amount of 15 Mûmakil, and Andrewcramer on the strongest Mûmakil leading the forces. Out of the 5000 about 4500 are ground troops walking behind the Mûmakil, and about 35 of ride each Mûmakil. The Haradrim horn blows, and they start the charge even though heavily outnumbered by the 50.000 enemy forces.
((uh I thought I sided with ThuBioNerd....))

Well, then, you don't command Harad, because Harad is with Tim. You can be a mercenary for Tim, or general for Harads

So, if your men are so high up they're impossible to hit, then it will also be very hard for them to aim accurately.))

As thousands of arrows fly across the sky hitting both the Haradrim and the Marksmen of Dale, the battle enrages. The Mûmakil are heavily outnumbered, but continue to charge into their death at Dale.

As the battle continues south of the main gate, other things start to disturb the approximately 35 guards at one of the many eastern watchtowers, one of the guards spots a bonfire, but is then quickly put down by a flaming arrow that appears to be of a Rhun Archer.
While the Guards look helplessly around them searching for the person who shot the arrow, 3500 Rohirrim appear at the horizon, charging at the watchtower with Dimitri sounding the charge and dozens of horns of Rohan blowing.

((Andrew, you're not leader, but the leader's not here, so you're acting leader on the battlefeld.))

Thalin watches as Tim charges an abandoned watchtower, as he ordered all men inside the city before they arrived in the valley ages ago.

Thalin curses, remembering something he should not have forgotten. He turns to one of his captains, "Take two hundred men and guard the secret entrance." the officer nods and hurries off.

As the Rohirrim smoothly take over the watch tower which is barely guarded, they head for the gate, which was locked and is now being braced by a couple of runaway Erebor Guards. The armies wait by the gate as the main force arrives with the 25k Gondorian troops, lead by Agorin himself on his white armoured horse. But of course, the troops of Erebor have not yet seen this army approach from behind the locked gate, and only expect there to be a little over 3000 Rohirrim, who are trained as horsemen, and not for underground-battle.

The gate holds for some time, as it is being barricaded, however it will soon break. Thu's men arrive, and begin to fortify, however even they will not be able to take down the 2.5k Rohirric vanguards

((Not guarded at all. And I've been bracing it for 2 days with the thousands of tons of stone and rubble I have.))

Thalin grits his teeth. "So the bastard arrives in person."

I deny this statement. It is meta gaming to claim you acted in advance, after the gate has already been attacked, AND after you already sent TROOPS to defend it. You did not defend it, however you can send troops to defend it now. The barricade will break.))
