((I think this game would have been a lot better if we had a map or something. because this is turning into op power gaming. both sides))
((I'm not power gaming at all, nor is Thalin, we just misunderstood eachother))
((I thought he meant the watchtower entrance Thorin tried to use to escape, but he meant the one Thorin used to enter, now that that's clear, it is Ok))
Tim is actually correct. The entrance Thorin TRIED to use to escape, which was filled with dead people. Logically, that would've been repaired. So, that's how tim is getting in.
And Thu's defenders can wait there and shoot at tim. That is possible, not power game, as he does have a ton of elves

(( I'm assuming Rhun hasn't made their official arrival... If they have ignore this.

The sound of the Rhunic horn was then heard by both attackers and defenders alike. 3,000 Easterlings led by Superstormfur of Rhun entered the battle. "We're late" said Superstormfur. "It's a good thing that scout notified us or we would've even missed even more" added one of Superstormfur's commanders. "It appears our allies are entering that watch tower. Commander, come with me I want to see what's happening here." Superstormfur said

Thalin shouts from the wall. "SUPER! YOU TRAITOR! YOU SIDE WITH THIS BASTARD RATHER THAN THOSE WHO HAVE GRANTED YOU LAND IN THE EAST MOUNTAINS! MAY MANDOS LEAVE YOUR BODY ADRIFT IN THE VOID AND MAY ERU'S SONG FALL IN DISCORD UPON YOUR EARS!"

((Dude.......

Wat...........

There is no hidden watchtower you metagamer.

OH OH I see this is one of your shitty little additions when you "rebuilt Erebor". Sure sure. ALright I'll play along with you..))

Thalin sends five thousand troops to the narrow passageway and orders his archers to draw bows. The passage makes a bend, and they are 50 yards from where the bend bends. As soon as the troops show their faces, the men let fly with their arrows and impale them.
((Remember by the time the dwarf reached you we were already in the city, no longer at the entrance, so we're not just at one passageway, we had enough time when that dwarf saw us and ran to you to spread out, so we're no longer a single target.))

As the 5000 men attempt to stop the armies from entering it is too late, the men have entered the city and spread out, and are now firing from different directions. The 25.000 men attacking that are already in the city cannot be stopped from the gate and heavily outnumber the small 5000 squad, if they do not act quick, they will be overran and defeated before Thalin even finds out.

((How the f*ck do 25k troops get through a tiny passage that quick?))
((Quick? It must've taken your guard about 5-10 minutes to reach you, inform you, and then have the men walk back.))
((Not all of the men are actually in yet, but lets say 5k is and the other 20k still storming out of the hallway, so there is no way of stopping them with the 5k))

As the 5000 Erebor Dwarves get pushes back to the main gate, Agorin shouts "RETREAT. ALL AS PLANNED, TO THE LOWER HALL WE GO." The Erebor Dwarves seem supprised but also relieved, and some quickly go forth to tell Thalin the news.

((How the f*ck do 25k troops get through a tiny passage that quick?))
Thu has a point. It would take some time. Also, the archers would've done a decent amount of damage. Tim's main force has lost a significant amount of soldiers, but still is around 20k. Tim now marches for the lower halls))

((25k do not simply walk 3-abrest in 10 minutes.))

Thalin shouts, "BLOW UP THE BRIDGES LEADING UP FROM THE HALLS! CAVE IN ALL TUNNELS FROM THERE! MAKE FOR THE THRONE ROOM! QUICKLY!" Thalin storms into the throne room, packed with civilians. "AL TROOPS TO ME! FORM PHALANX!" Thalin's whole force forms up, with Dwarves in front, all in full battle armor, towershields facing out, pikes down, axes in hand. Behind them are Dwarves, Elves, and men. At the back are the archers of Dale and the rangers of Mirkwood, bows drawn. The few ballistae he salvaged from the gate are set up behind, but he has one last trick up his sleeve. He gives a secret order to Fundin, who nods and heads off to accomplish it. He then takes several companies of Elven bowyers and Dwarven guardians and tells them to wreak havoc. They know the city like the back of their hands, and are given dynamite with which to cause mayhem. The huge halls are perfect for sniping, and he has set up archers all along the bridges and halls leading to the throne room.

As Thalin's armies fight, the armies of Agorin are still retreating to the lower halls, being followed by about 40k enemy men, almost outnumbering them 2:1, they continue to run to the gold, where Agorin rallies them to form lines and rally around him.

As the main force of about 18.000 remaining men of Rohirrim and Gondorian Soldiers are stationed in battle position in the lower halls, the armies of Thalin start entering the huge hall from the southern entrance.

((We're not going in the lower halls, we caved those in and blew up the bridges. We're harassing the troops left in the top.))

A squad of men makes a huge fire, and places many, many green branches of hemlock and wolfsbane on it, and the smoke is like poison, stinging the skin. Being heavier than air, it drifts down into the lower halls, and many of Tim's men's skin begins to blister and burn, while the smoke chokes some.
