With a squeeking of gears and clanking of chains, a pair of enormous trebuchets are hoisted to the ramparts, and begin to launch enormous boulders, most several yards in diameter. They crunch into the Gondorian formations and Rohirric squads, taking out whole platoons at a time.

((How can you have known by plan beforehand? and you can't have protected it that well before even knowing I'd target that, or you should had specified it before I revealed my plan.))

((Also, how could there had been guards guarding it if there was so much rubble in front?))

((The soldiers are inside your watch tower. The boulders would not hit them

Haven Master Cirdun (Not Cirdan) paces before the fleet of ships headed for "The Undying Lands" His closest advisor and heir to the Haven, Fleet Master Evury comes running over to Cirdun and Cirdun begins to speak "I want every able Elf Man here armed and ready for battle. We sail for the Anduin in the morning."

((Tim, I speak of the front gate. Ofc I knew you'd attack the front gate. Beep, TIm, what the hell are you two talking about? There are no watch towers, all my men are inside the main city behind the heavily-barricaded gate.))

((I FREAKING SAID THIS IN THE OTHER POST JEZUS. No it won't.))
I am Game Master and I say it will. You also claim your other gate will 'never break' even for GROND so, I am letting this attack succeed, as a punishment for previous meta-gaming (planning for previously-made attacks 'in advance') However you can still repulse even such an attack, you have many elite men who know the halls well))

Dude, we just talked about how tim took the watch tower with the secret entrance which you claimed you blocked 'before hand'))

((I'm freaking Bio and I say it won't. I didn't say it would never break. I didn't plan for previously-made attacks. You have no right to punish me.))

((The secret entrance isn't in a watch tower why the hell are wetalking about a watch tower I am talking about the main gate.))

((Also, I just said you couldn't shoot at me from a locked door... the watch tower has no windows and only one door for protection, the door is locked and being braced. Your army doesn't even know of my Gondorians' arrival and they just expect the 3+k Rohan men))

((Ignoring the "siege weapons" at the watchtower, as those clearly don't have those, nor looking windows, but I will allow the rubble for now))

As the gate won't break down because of all the rubble, Agorin orders a command, and another Mûmakil left from the main haradrim squad arrives. It is bound to the gate with giant metal chains, and orders the Mûmakil to pull it out, because there is no rubble on that side of the gate.))

((Ehm... the secret entrance is the watchtower Thorin attempted to escape through, but couldn't escape cause it collapsed. This isn't the main gate we're attacking, just so you know. We attack the side gate and you barricaded the real gate. The Mûmakil in my last action was also on the watchtower on the side.))

((WY ARE WE TALKING ABOUT WATCH TOWERS I HAVE COMPLETELY IGNORED WATCH TOWERS IN THE CAMPAIGN YOU CAN USE CRAYONS ON MY WATCHTOWERS I DON'T CARE. I have never given a thought to them, garland them with roses if it makes you feel better, my siege weapons are on the main gate you dingusses. The rubble as well is bracing the MAIN gate.))

((Alright, as you said "secret entrance I thought you meant that one))

The watchtower is breached and the final 10 guards killed, the Gondorians and Rohirrim enter the watchtower on foot, while Thalin is expecting a huge attack on the main gate, half of the main army has already entered the through a hidden watchtower.
However, this does not go unnoticed, and one of the dwarven guards of a different location notices this and runs to the main gate to inform Thalin about it before it is too late.

((I think this game would have been a lot better if we had a map or something. because this is turning into op power gaming. both sides))
((I'm not power gaming at all, nor is Thalin, we just misunderstood eachother))
((I thought he meant the watchtower entrance Thorin tried to use to escape, but he meant the one Thorin used to enter, now that that's clear, it is Ok))

((Dude.......

Wat...........

There is no hidden watchtower you metagamer.

OH OH I see this is one of your shitty little additions when you "rebuilt Erebor". Sure sure. ALright I'll play along with you..))

Thalin sends five thousand troops to the narrow passageway and orders his archers to draw bows. The passage makes a bend, and they are 50 yards from where the bend bends. As soon as the troops show their faces, the men let fly with their arrows and impale them.

((Remember where Thorin finds the dead dwarves? That passage leads to a watchtower east of the mountain, that's where we entered.))
