VENTURES INTO THE REMOTE (RP)

The speck slowly began more visible and Cardiloc saw Ha'zi, his eyes shut and clothes burnt as he twisted around and around flipping through the sky lifelessly, plummetting towards the evergrowing ground. Just a bit further...

"Yea," The bartender yelled at Thoruk, "No ruffians in ma Rusty Pipe!"

When they were outside, Arandil shook his head. "No one in their right mind goes to ask the King about which tavern is the fanciest, mate. We could try to find your friends or the guards. Maybe they'd have some coin?"

Card willed himself to catch, up, he had to use his ability, to save, Ha’zi. He focused on the wind rippling around him as he flew forth straight down. Willing himself to speed up...

BOOM.

Cardiloc was right upon Ha'zi just as the ground began to come up to his face. He had to slow his descent or he'd crash.

Card grabbed onto Ha’zi’s limp body with his claws, in the next split second he lifted his wings up to try and slow his descent desperately.

He slowed but he lacked the time and space to maneuver as the ground rushed up to meet Cardiloc and his wings smashed into the trees. After crash landing and destroying several patches of woodland, Cardiloc's eagle came to a stop. It's right wing was broken and it's left ripped to shreds by the trees. It was non-functional and beneath it, laying in its claws was Ha'zi's body.

Cardiloc left through the nape, jumping down to check on the Haradrim. “Ha’zi!!!” He screamed out, analysing the condition of the man.

"I'll see you two later" Iver said looking at the king and the elf before getting up and leaving the room. He would go out and take a look around before thinking about what the fuck he should do, before remembering Marco. He would start walking to Marco mother's house, someone should tell her that her son is back.

Cardiloc found himself short of breath. He had never transformed into a creature that large. What had happened to him?

In the claws of the dissipating eagle laid the Haradrim's body. His clothing was partially burnt and he was still.

------------

Iver found Marco's mother's home after a brisk walk down to the fourth level. He saw the gate shut and someone, a servant or gardener of some sorts, cutting the grass. Nearby there was a little girl playing with roses. Iver recognized her. Ela. Card's sister.

The Queen moved on, leaving them both alone.

Cardiloc knelt down and inspected the body within the claws further. “Ha’zi...?” The dunlending breathed out, his voice a whisper.

Whatever, I'm hungry and I will get something to eat. With or without money, ma kin would appreciate ma work on the battlefield and wouldn't kick me out like that... you humans are worse than the elves sometimes..." he grumbles before walking a few steps. "Lead on lad, I have no plan where to go to get some food n drinks." he says to Arandil.

Ha'zi remains bowing for a while because why not, then goes to stand. He notices the guards out of the corners of his eyes, and so he carefully says to Sigeric, "Mind if we walk somewhere? I have something I need to inform you of, ok?"

Dimitri stared at the world in awe, soaking in the sheer beauty of it. He knew few men in the history of Middle-Earth had the chance to be in the West, and even if history forgot him, Dimitri would know that he had the honor of seeing it. "What can we expect in the Forest?" Dimitri asked.

"Fuckin' scrub." Cardiloc heard Ha'zi speak. "Help me up, you turd." The Haradrim's eyes opened and he grunted as he attempted to stand.

---------------

"The trick is not to expect but to observe. Fear not. Orome has not been home for a long, long time. At least, that was true the last time I came here." The Iron Hunter explained as he continued forth.

"Sure, mate." Arandil said and an hour of grinding through the streets brought Thoruk and him into one of the poorest street markets in history. It was at the absolute bottommost level of Minas Tirith or so it seemed and there were gutter pipes everywhere as well as overflowing sewage in the streets. After a brief altercation with one of the vendors, the Gondorian returned with two skewers of some queer-looking gerbil-like creature roasted with something black and brown sludged across the meat.

"Dinner." Arandil handed one to Thoruk, "Best we can get for nil."

13615485

"Hey, I'm not the one who got us into this mess in the first place." Cardiloc grumbled breathlessly, though he was relieved that the Haradrim had survived, he reached out for Ha'zi's hand with his own to lift him up.

Ha'zi pulled himself up and once he was on the flat ground he straight up sucker punched Cardiloc.

The journey led them deep into the forest and soon night had come. Dimitri's stomach ached and his legs hurt. His thirst was quenched yet he craved food. The portions of carrot and potatoes which had filled the sack given to him by Telimekhtar had dwindled to a meager ration for the night. He would need replenishment soon.

8861015

“Oof.” Card wheezed out as Ha’zi pummelled him. “Suppose it’s better than you crushing my fucking wine pipe, prick.” He grunted, glaring at the Haradrim darkly. “I saved your life besides, now how do we get out of here.” He looked around.

Daugo returned to the present, having spaced out for a good while. "Oh," he said, dazed. "Where'd everybody go?"

"You should know. You're the one that brought us here." Ha'zi murmured, cranking his neck up at the destroyed forest.

"Out there." Pethon chuckled, laughing at the hobbit's innocence as he pointed towards the open doors of Merethrond.

“That was me... but I thought I could just go fast...? I’m not sure I have enough energy to escape, we should...” The dunlending mumbled, falling out of conciousness.
