VENTURES INTO THE REMOTE (RP)

"Aye, I don't realy have money, guess you'd have to talk with the waiter than, I could eat for 10 guys right now lad." the dwarf says looking at his mate.

”Wait!” Cardiloc called after Endo, what had said wrong? “I assumed Ha’zi told you who I am, well who I really am... what’d I say wrong?” He asked Berethor.

Arandil would sigh. He did not have any money himself. So they were left with something he hoped would work. The dwarf would challenge someone to a drinking contest. If he would win they would get a free meal. But that was all dependent if the bartender would accept.
"So, we have a problem. I do not have any money on me either. So, there's something I always wanted to see. A drinking contest with a dwarf. We can challenge the bartender to a drinking contest. He can choose if he wants to be the challenger or he can choose one. If we win we get a free meal. Let's see if he accepts, but first, do you accept?"

Iver stayed on the floor for a moment while memories of the strange group passed through his mind alongside parts from their conversations.
"This is our only chance to have our freedom"
"I think we should just stop and-"
”I honestly don’t care where we settle down-“
“Oh, could we go somewhere cold?”
"guys you really don't need to-"
“Not anywhere near this place”
”What’s it like?”
”You traitorous shit-“
“Is it big enough for all of us?”
“Firstly, how many can you carry as the Flying?”

"There might be a small chance that i know where they are heading" Iver said, after going in his head over the memories, "And even a smaller chance that they wont kill me on sight" he added.

"Oh?" Ha'zi would say, equally surprised that not only did Iver speak out so suddenly after all this time of silence from him, but that he actually had something important to say and that he had this kind of information... Also, of all people, this was coming from Iver. "So, where might they be heading?"

Hering would nod and bow, waiting for further orders
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sigeric would start to leave as Iver spoke, when Ha'zi replied he'd say "Don't listen to him, or have you already forgotten what he tried to do earlier? He'd say anything to try and get back on the good side of things." Sigeric would say, finally leaving the room

His face would turn to a scowl and he was about to say something back to Iver when Sigeric spoke. Nodding and agreeing, all Ha'zi would do is glare then also leave, following after the Guardian shifter.

Thoruk looks at Arandil like he saw a flying rabbit. "What do ya want from me lad?" he asks, than letting out a small laugh. "Well, although than came outa nowhere I'd realy consider it." Thoruk says before adding. "Lots of free beer and even some food to finish it off when I win, I actually like that lad." Thoruk says as he looks out for the waiter. "You'll ask him lad." he adds, while punching him softly.

Arandil nodded to Thoruk. "Very well, this ought to be interesting to watch. I might throw in some small bets. But before I ask him I need to know. Can you take lots of shots or will you blackout on me in the first 8?"

"I don't just take shots, i take whole bottles lad. We dwarves are natural drinkers, like we are sprinters, no one can top us." he says, meaning it like a joke. "But lad, I'll get that barkeep done, trust me." he says to Arandil.

Arandil began to laugh at the dwarf's sentence."I trust ya lad. Now let's get some drinks and food." He begins to walk to the bartender and asks.
"Good day sir. Me and my friend here are out of money since we came back after that expedition that was absolute hell. But we won't leave without filling our bellies with food and drinks. So, I propose, my little friend here go head to head with a challenger of your choosing or yourself, to get free food and free drinks for the night. What do you say?"

Berethor had turned away from Cardiloc and merely stared down at the tabletop.

"Wouldn't ya think there would be more of us around had we retained that ability, kid?" The warmth that had once greeted Cardiloc was no longer present, replaced by something far darker. Anguish? Hatred? No. It was something Cardiloc knew all too well. Pain.

"So you're telling me that I waste all my drinks on yer friend and someone else so that ye have a chance at my foodstuffs free o' charge? Righty, I totally agree!" The bartender laughed and extended his hand to Thoruk.

The King took his seat again as Sigeric and Ha'zi left, leaving behind Daugo, Iver, Glorfindel, the rangers and the guards. Silence filled the hall.

Sigeric and Ha'zi found themselves out amidst the Citadel level. The beautiful white tree bloomed across the fountain and somewhere across the great spurring rock of Minas Tirith stood a female whose beauty was unmatched by any in the city, carrying a babe that fondled her hair as the sun fell in the distance signaling the coming of nightfall.

"Sooooo......" Iver after a little while, "Anything else or are we free to go?" he asked the king. If he had anything else to say it wouldn't be with the rangers around, especially not that Hering guy.

"Why should I leave you behind? You are a Son of Tulkas, a gravely wounded one. You need help to get to the Gardens, and I need help to get away from Valianor. I'm sure we can both provide that for each other." Dimitri said. it was a desperate bargain, but it might work.

"If you attempt to aid me, we shall both be found. I cannot guarantee your safety."

"As I said, you may leave."

“Oh… I didn’t mean to, remind him or any of you about that, it’s just from my… time, everything hasn’t gone like it is here. Ha’zi wants to change my future, so his past is gone. I know how bad stuff has got, I just want to know how it happened so I can stop it; so all this pain is avoided and so many deaths can be prevented, I need to know the full story.” The dunlending finished, looking up at Berethor expectantly.

The man sighed then looked up at Cardiloc, his eyes devoid of emotions.

"I can only speak for my people...we lost our powers...or at least I did along with Miriel, Tytus, Equas, Evenis, Joplin and..." he paused, "Mirecyla. Giant powers that are. No healing. No giantization. Nothing. But...we did retain our biological enhancements. Morgoth's power that was imbued in us dissipated upon his death. But there was no magic for what he and Sauron did to our blood. We were left with these strange powers. Endo can sense things. He knows when something bad is about to happen. That's how we can escape. We're always on the move. Because of that thing...that hellspawn...it killed them all. We united...well...wasn't much of a choice, Card. You were with us before, well, before you left to fight Bere-" He stopped there.

Sigeric would open his mouth in awe at the sheer beauty of the maiden. The elves he had seen was beautiful indeed, but this was an unholy beauty. Something that only centuries of living could possibly conjure. He'd take a few steps forward and take a knee bowing, motioning for Ha'zi to do the same. Speaking up he would say "My lady." In greeting
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hering would remain standing at attention, unsure if the King had any need for the Black Rangers as a whole or if the captain needed something.
