On the spot, actually, he'd numbly think to himself in response to Mateus's words. Shin turned back to the duel now that his main attention occupying source had gone, absentmindedly placing his bets on Keratos. He didn't know why exactly he wasn't training like the rest, but he didn't complain anyways.
The ranger’s gaze mainly was set on the developing fight, though he occasionally glanced back and forth to needlessly inspect his crossbow. Just as he watched Keratos start to dodge many blows, the ground suddenly shook, and his beloved, nearby weapon teetered in a way that brought him much alarm. Hastily, he went to clutch it against him before it could possibly fall and get damaged. “Guess the gods don't appreciate my jokes,” Shin grumbled to himself, his mouth set in a scowl as he stood up uneasily. “Hey, what's going on?!” He shouted over to his comrades.

“Oh… Oh, Bernadette…,” Galador blissfully mumbled in his sleep, engrossed in a particularly lucid dream in which he was having s- some quality time catching up with an old friend. Yeah, let's call it that. A few more amused sounds escaped, though far harder to make out this time around to any near. It was clear that he had lost the struggle against staying awake, succumbing to the desires of unconsciousness. Unfortunately for Galador right at this moment, the tables were turned on the alluring state of mind as the quakes started, breaking him from his trance- right as it was about to get good, too. Grumbling, the soldier looked around as to find out what had disturbed him, then fully registered what had just hit. “Daugo! Hey, Daugo, where are you at, mate?!” He started to call, gazing randomly for the hobbit, eyes wide.
