VENTURES INTO THE REMOTE (RP)

"We do not intend to use our Giant powers in the streets. I have other methods. As for Lieutenant Burgins, he lacks the energy to transform at the present moment." Sigeric said calmly, his calculating eyes examining the unfamiliar officer. "Our assistance could help bring this matter to an end and avert numerous casualties."

Ha'zi and Galador nod in grim unison, and go to join up with their fellow soldiers: Ha'zi heading over to accompany Sigeric while Galador moved towards Daugo, casting a dirty sideways at Rambo.
-----------------------------------------

Meanwhile, Shin did the same, though in this circumstance he bobbed his head eagerly, ready to dive into action. He went to get his gear in order- which he mostly accomplished, having his light protective armor on and crossbow at hand. Only thing left was his long dagger, which was practically a short sword, minus a few inches. He did some finishing touches: clip buckle here, swoosh cape there, and tightening everywhere. Once he was at long last done, he bound out and joined up with the rest of his squad. "Who's ready to go giant-hunting?" He asked with singsong cheer.

When Mateus stopped ranting about his commands, Furdin chuckled and moved out. He always knew that his comrade had yet to grow some hairs down there and grow some little grey cells up there. Shin, on the other hand, seemed to have both and then something else that plagued all men in their youth - nativety. He was too happy, too ready to hunt. Well, Furdin was ready too, but he knew many would die. Perhaps even Shin. He'd play along for now. "I sure am. Erika hungers for blood." he replied.

Mateus stood confused, when had he taken over? This was his damned squad! He didn't like killing, but... No. Such thoughts cannot be allowed. Grumbling he grasped his spear and followed the group. He'd make up for this embarrassment. He'd handle it, after Shin finally showed up he rolled his eyes and moved up in the pack to get away from the man. He didn't need his chatter.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"New it'd backfire anyways. Even your call, should I transform?" Mirecyla would say cursing her ill fortune. I mean, it wasn't like they hadn't stood out like a sore thumb. One of them looked like a thief and then the rest of us are wearing fucking bloody rags. Totally not like we'd get interviewed or some shit. However in her panic she'd attempt two things at once, picturing how Equas had once described his mimicry she would go through her list of phobias she just received and went to make constructs out of them, using the fears as the basis. At the same time she would go to shift her body except her head into the form of her giant just as she had done previously.

"this can't be Aranel, she is d-" a voice in his head tried to warn him, but he would not let anyone run his amazing moment and so he shut the little voice up.
Iver kissed her back, "as your wish" he replied, falling back into the bed.

"Um, I hid them in the basement." Ela said. "Who are they?"

------------------------------------------

"And how exactly would you intend to do that?" Ostopher asked Sigeric.

--------------------------------------------

"I doubt I can transform again, I'm still tired. So this is all on you, Mirecy." Even said, opening his mouth and grabbing Mirecy from behind. "Go wild." His jaw widened and he bit into her neck, sinking his canine fangs deep into her skin. Something pumped into Mirecyla's neck and adrenaline pumped her heart. Even ripped out his fangs and ran back as her body seized going into transformation.

Tamara heard something from behind her.

"Aaaaaaaaaaaagggghhhhh!!!!!" A lady screamed as a blast of light engulfed the fourth level.

--------------------------------------------

WHOO-BOOOOOM.

They all looked to the streets. Something similar to that of a fire-spear exploding sound rocked the floor.

"Move in to intercept the enemy!" Kurio yelled and charged out onto the streets followed by Arthor and Cochran.

Keratos punched Furdin's shoulder and rushed after in the direction of the blast of light.

-----------------------------------------------

"And who is it that created that water?"

-----------------------------------------

Iver was seduced and spent a long, long time in that bed. It seemed as if he was sleeping more than he ever had in his life and finally he felt satisfied.

"Do you want more?" Aranel whispered into his ear as they lay together.

“Their... friends I guess, I told them to kee you safe while I fought the ‘bad guys’, could you show me to them.” Cardiloc requested.

Ha'zi looked to Sigeric, curious as to how he could get out of this problem the Dalishman set up for himself.
------------------------------------------------

"Aye, don't worry about ol' Daugo here," Galador says, stepping in front protectively. "He's got me to make sure nothing bad happens to and with him."
------------------------------------------------
The crossbowman licked his lips in excitement. The prey had shown itself, conveniently soon, too. Instead of rushing in like the rest of his madlad hybrid squad, Shin stayed back, propping his crossbow out, and gazed predatorily around, trying to catch glimpses of the escapees.

Rambo raised a brow at what Galador had just said, a man of low wit, the protector of possibly the most vital shifter Gondor had; perfect. He coughed to Sigeric. “Sir, didn’t you hear what I said about Glorfindel?”

Galador sneered, looking towards the dark ranger. "He doesn't need to because that's a no-brainer, Rambo. Everyone knows that those edgy cunts relish in chaos, and you saw how that crossbow nut was when the elf got struck."

“It’s not just them, its glorfindel himself. Something ain’t right with him. He won’t be cooperative,” He explained to the man.

He rolled his eyes. "Oh really? Glorfindel, the elf that attacked a bunch of our fellow rangers for no apparent reason, might have something wrong with him? Golly, I never knew!"

“He was provoked, you damn fool. None of this bullshit with Glorfindel would’ve happened if he wasn’t surrounded by a bunch of hostile men. We need fighters like him with us, not against us.” He snapped back, disliking Galador even more.

Iver had the best time he had ever since his life went to shit, it was great, everything he wanted and so, as Aranel asked him "Do you want more?", he answered without hesitation, almost begging to her "Yes.. please.."

“After seeing what happened in Mordor, wouldn’t you be batty. Most of the lads who went never came back,” Rambo argued.

"All right, all right, settle down, we have a task to carry out," Daugo told the two, hands outstretched. "Lead the way, Sig, you seem to know more than any of us at the moment," he added, fixing his gaze on Dalishman's eyes.

Sigeric was growing impatient. He was careful not to show it, but those few who knew him well could see it in his eyes. "If you wish to see for yourself, you can accompany us." Sigeric said to Ostopher. "Time is of the essence. We need to move now, or we'll miss any chance that we have." He moved towards the door again, motioning for the others to follow.

Ha'zi followed Sigeric out of the door, shaking his head at the two rangers' conversation. Now was not the time for arguments, he thought bitterly. It was a time to work together to stop the problem before it got worse, which would not at all be helped by those wishing to complain instead of taking action.
----------------------------------------------
He scowled, and was about to press further into the conversation, but stopped once Daugo started to protest. Muttering, he nodded to the hobbit, and started to move with the rest of his squadmates.
