VENTURES INTO THE REMOTE (RP)

Thoruk would now focus all of his energy. He would focus on the clouds above him, feeling the lightnings running through them and the rain coming down, dropping onto his giant-skin. He puts both of his hands up, pointing towards the sky. He would then start forming the lightning to a shape of a dragon, a gigantic dragon, just like the ones he had heard off in his grandfathers stories and those he had seen on pictures in the great lonely mountain. Their power, so mighty, that not even their king could survive a battle with one. This was the image he would see infront of him, when trying to create something devestating. Yet, would it work the way he had hoped for?

--------------

Tamara would stay close behind Keratos, trying to hide herself a bit behind him as a cold shower goes down her neck. This person was no one she would want to meet twice.

Daugo sighed exasperatedly, looking at the frozen Galador. "All right," he said, slapping his arm, "c'mon. We're leaving."

Sigeric absorbed what Berethor had said. Had the Armoured Shifter gone mad? Claiming that they were friends, and describing events that had never occurred? Sigeric was so focused on this conversation that he barely noticed Mateus and Shin approaching him. Their words gradually sank in. "Arrest me? You have no reason to do so. He gestured towards Berethor. "This is the Shifter whom you are after, and whom I was in the process of apprehending. And you believe him to be my so-called 'accomplice'?" He noticed Berethor race off towards the third level gate. "...And there he goes. Are you two going to capture him, or are you going to allow him to escape, wasting your time attempting to arrest your ally?" Though it did not show in his expression, Sigeric was seething with cold anger at these imbeciles for wasting his time. It appeared that his attempt to erase the memories of everyone involved had either failed, or not yet taken effect. Sigeric stared at the two rangers, waiting for them to respond. His weapon was not drawn, and he took an nonthreatening stance.

'OH SHIT OH GOD OH FUCK.' Dimitri thought as he saw even more people storm in. His life flashed before him, and then he remembered what the crazy, old man said in the Adorn. "Use your mega-reverse card, boyo! It'll save yer life!"

Dimitri activates his mega-reverse card to reverse time to when he was just freed (CANON).

As Arandil turned and made his leave, he noticed many people were watching him. Equas was one of them. He walked towards the Gondorian but stopped short after seeing the state Arandil was in. They let him storm off.

"Great. Our primary inheritor for Joplin's usurper is pissed off." Miriel murmured.

"It isn't my fault. And anyway, don't you have the fight to prepare for?"

"Don't remind me." She grumbled and went back inside her cabin leaving Berethor to watch as Arandil left. The man glanced down at the shield he had dropped and remembered the tree. That damn tree.

"Ugh," He hit his head with a closed fist. "Damn it. Even, I'll avenge you. And Mirecy...I'll come back and find you. Wherever you are. I'll find you." He whispered under his breath.

KRA-KRA-KRAAAAAAAA

The sky roared as a compacted hue of azure blasted through the clouds. A thousand tendrils of electricity culminating into one grand beast. A dragon of pure lightning.

The dwarves on the field began to hesitate, unsure of what was happening. Some wavered but they stood their ground.

--------------

The guards did not react to the vomit and kept charging Iver. Something the Dalishman did not expect. They were immune to his autism!

One of the Eternal Guard's slowly reached into his pocket and revealed a card. He twisted it around...it was another reverse card.

The Dwarf Giant's claws were sliced through as more of the Eternal Guard converged upon him. Dimitri's face came crashing down into the palace floor, cracking the marble as they began to storm his Dwarf's body.

-----------------

"Yes. Just wanted to pay a visit to my lovely bewitched wife. Oh and," Vana felt his presence approach her.

"I want to know how it's possible that the Timeless Halls are empty. Even the Firmament is desolate. Where is Eru?"

---------------

"General," Keratos saw the man approaching and bowed.

"What's the situation, sargeant?" Tamara heard the scary man's voice. It chilled her core to the bone. Keratos was big enough for her to hide behind a single one of his legs, well enough so that the one he called 'General' couldn't notice her.

"Some casualties on the upper levels. Arthor was injured, Cochran fled, other rangers on the field. We secured one shifter but he perished during capture-"

"The girl?" Who was he asking about? Was it her?

"She-well it's better I show you, sir." Keratos began to turn around, Tamara still crouched behind his leg.

Daugo and Galador heard the sound of horses arriving outside of the alleyway and near the streets.

Sigeric, Shin and Mateus - while deposing one another - heard commotion coming from by the crystal shard. Sigeric was the first to see that Belzagar had arrived with an entire regiment of rangers, citadel guards and garrison men. The situation was going to spiral out of control if Sigeric did not cover himself from the collateral damage of his telepathy...or would he?

Radmir (fuck you) noticed a majority of the eleventh and fifth squadron rangers marching in systemic formation behind Ostopher. He could sneak in and no one would notice his cowardice.

Thoruk would turn his head to the right and to the left and the proceed and look out for a spot where he would not harm his brothers, if needed, even further away, maybe even miles, somewhere where none of his kind would get hurt. He would concentrate at this particular point and let his arms push down, carrying the weight of the lightnings, pulling them down onto the ground, unleashing it's power.

--------------

"Ahh" she'd think. "Did I do something? Do they know I'm a thief?" she'd ask herself, almost closing her eyes, still standing still behind Keratos.

Arandil went back to his cabin, in search for some peace and quiet, so he could calm down and ease the pain he felt inside after remembering yet again all the horrors he had witnessed a year ago in that damn valley. He sat next to the cabin, taking out his note and reading it one more time, tearing up as he began to realize that he might never see his family alive again, for they might as well all be dead and he doesn't even know it.

He did not know neither if Thoruk would return, nor of Iver's fate or whereabouts. He was alone in a village full of people who have an everlasting hate on his kin, and even some killed his kin and comrades too. But the fear soon vanished, and all that was left was rage as he hit his cabin's wall in anger and despair.

Arandil heard a noise on the front porch as he re-read the letters. Then the door slowly slid open...

Someone had entered his cabin.

With the guidance of his giant-arms, Thoruk threw the lightning dragon into the side of the Lonely Mountain. The blast impact was not enormous but the power generated created a shockwave and the earth shook. Electricity went wild and a few sparks caught fire to the mountainside which slowly dissipated under the falling rains.

The dwarves were taken by shock and some of them even retreated back yet as the sparks died down, they began to cheer wildly.

Thoruk could hear their voices.

"CHOSEN WARRIOR! CHOSEN WARRIOR!! CHOSEN WARRIOR!!! IRONBEARD!!! IRONBEARD!!! HUA HUA!!!!!"

It was one of the proudest moments of his life. He wasn't even that drained as well.

-------------

"She...is there," Keratos raised his hand slowly and pointed to the crystal. Tamara watched the General take a few steps towards it. Another man, older and with a cane moved aside.

"As you can see sir, she's somehow manag-"

"I can think for myself, Kurio." Came the General's reply. His voice was soft, methodical and precise. Like a hunter's knife slicing across the jugular of caught prey. It scared Tamara in a way no one else seemed affected by.

"Interesting. Very interesting. Have her carted up to the citadel. I want her under constant watch. We won't need to transfer her to the special containment zone."

13615485

Thoruk felt like a god of some sorts for a few seconds. He actually felt good, but snapped back into reality when a few raindrops hit his eye and slowly dripped down his face. He would then proceed and turn towards the dwarves, kneeling down in his giant form, waiting for a response from the chieftain of their engineers guild.

--------------

Tamara breathed out "Phew" they weren't talking about her, but about some sort of crystal. She would still remain behind Keratos, not having a good stomach feeling about this other guy.

Mateus motioned to to the fleeing Berethor, addressing Shin "Get him, bring any backup you can. If that's truly the Armored then we gained another prisoner, and it means the Screaming isn't far behind." Mateus quickly said before taking another step forward to Sigeric "I gave you your chance, throw away your weapon now." He said, pointing the spear at Sigeric, no emotion painted on his face while he projected his authority

"'Memories to come'...?" His eyes widened. "These are from the future?!" Ha'zi said, perplexed even moreso. He wanted to question further, but he began to digest what had appeared to him more thoroughly. "If that is true... then... then it seems that's proof for what she said..." He spoke, slowly and carefully. Then, he asked curiously, an odd feeling stirring in him, "I have children? Children... named Beren and Laurel, I'd assume?"
[rule]
"Damn it." Shin started to
sprint after the fleeing Berethor, all the while wishing the ass hadn't broken his crossbow. Would've made this a lot easier, he thought enviously, plus it'd be some well-deserved justice. For now, though, the ranger sped after the shifter, growing ever angrier as he chased close behind.
[rule]
"Hmph..? Oh, yeah, right." Galador said as he was brought back to the situation at hand. He
proceeded to head out of the alleyway, taking a peak as to see who was riding by them.

A few moments passed in silence before the chieftan strode forth and yelled up at the Elemental Giant, "What else can ya do?!"

--------------

Daugo and Galador saw the situation at hand.

Rangers and soldiers scurried over the site of the breach like cockroaches. There was a crystal similar to the Guardian's nearby a small pile of broken giant bones. Sigeric was being apprehended by one of the black cloaks that had arrested the proto-giant shifters whilst Belzagar and a few others were nearby the crystal. Daugo noticed the figure of a short woman hiding behind one of the larger rangers legs.

"Sir, there is another issue," Kurio said.

"What?" Belzagar asked whilst admiring the crystal, running his gloved fingers over the icy surface.

"We were all temporarily seized." Belzagar turned at that.

"What? Explain?"

"I heard the Guardian's voice in my mind, I think, and my body refused to move. It obeyed his commands willingly. I think."

"You think?" Belzagar raised an eyebrow.

"My memory isn't what it used to be," The old man confessed.

"General, he speaks the truth. It happened to many of us. The Guardian influenced our actions." Keratos spoke up.

Berethor sprinted and kept running, he was faster than the crossbowman and had a seven-meter start on him. Shin was falling behind...then the shifter stopped dead in his tracks.

"Halt!" Shin heard Ostopher's voice. And soon enough he saw the commander's form coming over the rise of the hill and lines of rangers marching behind him.

Berethor turned swiftly and made a dash for one of the alleyways like a frightened animal. "Seize him!" Ostopher called, his gauntlet began to swivel slowly and he pointed it at the fleeing shifter.

-------------

Keldar hesitated before he replied, "I shouldn't tell you but you know enough already. Your assumption is correct."

16315828

Well that was odd, the smooth marble floor, the guard's iron boots and the vomit should have made them slip. But perhaps they were immune to slipping. Iver bites his lips and swallow the blood to wash the taste of puke from his mouth. "Well shit, seems like Dimitri isn't doing that good" he said after looking backwards, seeing the duel of cards Dimitri just lost. He then proceeded to try and stab one of the guards with his Maia blade in the knee.
[rule]
"Can you blame them for being empty as a monster arrive?" She replied and turned towards him.

Arandil focused, and with a calm voice said;
"And to who do I owe this unexpected visit?" while walking towards the front door.

"Is this a joke to them?" he'd ask himself, standing up again. He had just used one of his largest attacks and the chieftain asked for more? Yet, Thoruk had an idea of what he could show to them, but he wasn't sure if it would work. He would sit down in his giant form, the ground shaking a bit due to it's weight. He would then proceed, trying to concentrate at the rain around him. He would try and stop the rain mid air, letting it float. That was no easy task at all, but if someone could do it, then him.

--------------

Tamara would stay quiet behind Keratos and listen. "Mind controlled?" she'd think. But why hadn't she been effected when this happend? Was this 'Guardian' one of these weird people she had helped out from the maze down there?

"Just lil' ol' me," Dina's voice responded to him as she stepped out into the hallway. "Equas told me you were searching for me."

18199471

---------------------

The blade nearly missed the kneecap but Iver managed to slide it through the thick opening in the guard's plate. He watched the blade penetrate through and the guard began to shake, its body going slack and and a bright angelic light exploding from within the opening.

The other guards rushed Iver before he could recover the blade in time, one taking a swipe at his head with the blunt of his blade. Iver was barely able to react...how was this possible? They were...almost as fast as him?!

-----------------------

"Wow. Tsk. Tsk." The Trickster smiled as he saw her face. "Wow," His expression softened for a moment. "You're so..." He found himself staring before snapping back to reality. "Unhelpful. Now, answer me. Where is Eru? What has Manwe done with him?"

14628767

----------------------

Suddenly, the raindrops hitting the plateau froze. It was an amazing scene. A mise-en-scène of wonder as the chieftan touched the air and scooped a drop into his palm.

Thoruk was sweating heavily. He had just managed to take control of each individual droplet of water over a two-kilometer radius. It was the first time he had ever done such a feat and he was beginning to fatigue.

13615485

“Endo, Marco is her son, she’s kept you here hidden for two days. All it’ll be is me teleporting in and out, and I’ll need you with me for support. We owe her the safe return of her son at least. If you promise me help in this I’ll save your form in this timeline as well if that is your wish. But yeah we should probably go after Berethor. Now, let’s get ourselves washed.” Cardiloc relented.

Thoruk, surprised by his own strength, would turn his head. "What a gorgeous sight this is." he'd think, proud of himself. "Even Durin would be enjoying this sight." Thoruk would think, enjoying the sight of the frozen raindrops a bit more before letting the drops move on their own again. He would lower his head as the raindrops start pouring onto his head once more. He realy wasn't used to using so much energy and controlling so many small drops. Yet, he showed off what he was capable off and he himself was proud of what he showed his kin. And so he would slowly try to get out of his giant form.

"haha! Got you bit-" zbeng, iver said as he was hit in the head by the guards. "Oh hell, this shit hurts" he thought to himself as he tried to avoid getting hit again and yet find an opening for an attack.
[rule]
Vana turned around, watering her flowers again and asked "and why should I help the monster who killed my child".
