VENTURES INTO THE REMOTE (RP)

”It is, time to give your past self a heart attack, you wait here.” Cardiloc sighed, he’d look down to see if there was an opening to teleport in front of Endo in a split second.

"I am surprised you can smell anything apart from your fucking stench of filth." He spat at Raddis.
"Gentlemen and ladies, I bid you farewell." He said as he began running towards the forests in a South-Western direction. He had left his shield and sword after his conversation with Berethor, so now he was much faster than before. He hoped it would be enough to outrun them.

Daugo's brow furrowed, and he scowled when Belzagar called him a barbarian. "I didn't see Cardiloc during that whole debacle outside," he said. "But if I recall correctly, his sister is staying at the estate of the Lady Eldrith. It would be logical to look for him there."

Daugo's Trusty Companion did not scowl when Belzagar called Cardiloc a barbarian. He wan't exactly wrong. As to his location, Sigeric remembered how Cardiloc's mental signature had seemed to jump all over the city when he attempted to track him earlier. He still had no explanation as to why. He nodded at Daugo's suggestion. "I concur. Even if Cardiloc is not currently at the Eldrith estate, his sister or Lady Eldrith might have some idea of where else he might go." He paused. "If I may ask, General, are we aware of the nature of Cardloc's involvement during the prisoners' escape?"

"Wow," Miriel snickered, "I did not expect that."

She watched as Raddis, Berethor and many others chased after Arandil. A minute passed before Raddis dragged his unconscious body back.

"Stow him away. We'll transfer his power just before we leave." She told the black man then turned to Garath, "See to it his memories are erased. As much as possible. I do not want him to remember anything."

"What about Joplin's inheritor? Shouldn't I erase his memories before the transfer?"

"No. I want him to feel the pain. That is what happens for slaying one of our own, even if it was Jop."

"Got it."

-------------------------

Arandil awoke tied to a wooden table in a shack of some sorts. Axes, hammers, knives, swords and other tools lay about, some rusted, yet all coated with varying degrees of hardened red blood. He heard low raspy breathing to his right. He could see out of the corner of his eye a chained man with swords piercing through both arms and keeping him pinned to the wooden planked flooring. He was muttering something but Arandil's head hurt too much to register any coherent talk from the babble.

------------------------------------

"Dig, nigga and don't talk to me until we find Aule. Or I swear to myself that I'll kill you." The Trickster muttered.

WHOOSH.

Out of the corner of Iver's eye, the Dwarf Giant appeared and began to burrow through the ground using its claws to rip up the earth and its great jaws to gulp through stone. It began to create a tunnel whilst Telimekhtar stood there watching with trepidation.

---------------------------------

Cardiloc saw his opening yet three guards were catching up to the man.

-----------------------------------

"According to the reports by the only surviving witness," Belzagar looked to Vardamir.

"He aided them in the escape then fought with the fear girl who was involved in the rescue of the Serpent." The Captain stated matter-of-factly.

"As far as I'm concerned, he is not to be trusted." Ostopher intoned. "Shall we disperse teams to the location of the Eldrith Estate?" He asked Belzagar.

"Not yet." The General spoke up. "We shall find this Cardiloc but before we do that a few more issues must be resolved. The elf used some sort of 'glowing stone' to 'blow a hole' in the walls. What exactly does Glorfindel have, Karoltai? And how did he manage to obtain it?"

Cardiloc without second thoughts teleported in front of Endo, he’d move to grab him and teleported back up to the rooftop.

Iver shrugged once again, whatever Orome did in that shitty place did not do him well, he thought and moved aside, letting the dwarf giant dig his way.

The Hobbit shook his head. "I could not confidently say, sir," he answered, almost honestly. The description of a 'glowing stone' certainly reminded him of that strange night after the massacre of Udun, but he didn't think it would be able to blast a hole through walls... though the Men's reaction to it was stank of magic, if he remembered correctly.

After an hour, the Dwarf Giant emerged from the tunnel and shook its head at them, spitting out some cobblestone. "Found 'em!"

------------------

"What?!" One of the guards exclaimed.
"He was just right there!"
"By Numenor my eyes!"

Cardiloc heard them as he landed back on the roof with the younger Endo.
"Whaddafuc-" Endo held onto Card as he looked around him and saw his older self.
"HOLISHIEE-"

The older Endo touched his younger self to calm them and suddenly a wave of nausea hit all three of them.

Cardiloc saw something. Something truly horrifying and yet wondrous.

---

A shadowy tower walked up the broken steps inside a glowing temple. Fissures of lava fell from the rooftops into rivers of overflowing magma that illuminated the cavern. The steps reached a peak and came to a dead end that was broken off into the nothingness. The figure reached it and gazed down into the abyss.

"Not yet. But soon. Soon you shall be ready." Cardiloc heard the voice speak. It was a course language yet he somehow understood it.

The lava below him began to recoil and it began to move then suddenly, something burst forth from the lava. A massive head. It rose up to face the figure upon the broken staircase, molten rock trailing down its nostrils and neck.

"Beautiful."

Then another head emerged from the lava and joined its companion. And another. Three large long heads, each nearly the size of the Behemoth. They had golden eyes and scales of fiery red and charcoal dark. The middle-head raised up higher than the rest and looked to an opening in the dark volcanic chamber, gazing up at the sky and opened its mouth. A spray of blazing blue flames erupted from its mouth. The other two heads slowly followed, each firing rays of flame. One yellow and one orange.

---

Slowly the vision faded and Cardiloc found himself holding onto both Endo's atop the roof.

--------------------

"And you two?" Belzagar asked Ha'zi and Sigeric.

"Who's next to me? What in Eru's name happened? I thought I got away. Well, it was worth the try, I guess." Arandil began to understand who might possibly be next to him, but he wouldn't call him by his name yet.

"Mama..." Was the only reply that came from that man. "Mama...mama..."

18199471

Iver looked at Orome "Shouldn't we get backup? I mean we got our ass kicked back then and i know a guy who is not doing that much right now" Iver screeched.

"Mama..." Marco began to cry.

The door to the room opened. Raddis walked in followed by Lasser.

"It's time," Lasser said.

-------------------

"Fine. Who do you want?" The Trickster asked irritatingly.

Cardiloc cursed as the guards caught sight of him, great, they needed to get the fuck out of the city now. W-, was that... Morgoth? He looked on in terror at the vision, then it subsided. He panted out. “What was that?” He stared at the two Endo’s.

"Although I wish I could advocate for Sigeric, I did not witness the event, as I had blacked out after communicating with the Fear Giant. While I may be of no real use in this case, I can say I seriously doubt Sigeric would ever have the ability to do such a thing."

While Ha'zi was explaining to the crowd,
he contacted Sigeric mentally. "Bitch, you better compensate me for this." 12519458

Shin advanced, keen on sounds and details as he approached.

Galador stepped forward. "I also agree. I heard nothing of the sort from the Guardian, just that monstrous crystal girl influencing everything and everyone
around her."

"Who the fuck are you?!" Endo screamed.
"What the fuck was that thing?!" The older Endo yelled.

"There they are!" Someone yelled.

This was bad.

-----------------------

Shin entered the gate and managed to reach the front doorsteps without any commotion. They creaked as he made his way up to the front door. It appeared shut.

------------------

"So?" Belzagar asked. "Does a shiny crystal ring a bell?" His question was directed at Ha'zi who had not answered of the three Karoltai.

"Well, I kinda dumped Arandil and Thoruk back with the murderous sister of Aranel and their crazy friends and promised to pick them up later. I'm kinda scared that Thoruk will get them both killed after saying something more idiotic than my last speech to the king. I was about to rescue them but then you showed up and we had a chat with your lovely sister, then i fought your nephew and got my ass kicked by your other nephews. If you get them here i promise you i wont complain about anything for the rest of the rescuing mission" Iver screeched, probably giving Lil Tali a headache.
