VENTURES INTO THE REMOTE (RP)

"Hm... sort of. What else could you tell me about it?" Ha'zi asked, purposefully being oblivious, though he was attempting to mask any real emotions and knowledge of the subject from permeating outwards.

Shin considered his options: To trespass, or not to trespass? He weighed each briefly- briefly, that is, being a little less than instantaneous. Instead of doing something stupid like slowly reaching for the doorknob and testing it, and cracking open the door slightly if it wasn't locked, Shin, with blade at ready, launched a boot forward at the door.

Telimekhtar grunted.

"Fine, fine, I'll do it-" The Trickster was about to whisk himself away with the snap of his fingers but halted upon seeing the dug hole. "Fly us down there. Dimitri, follow." The Trickster ordered Iver, walking up to the Flying Giant. "I have a brother to rescue."

------------------------

"AAAAA-PLHEWWW!!!!" Both Endo's screams were interrupted by vomit as they held onto Cardiloc and bile went everywhere, some hitting Cardiloc. This was a mess. The younger Endo let go and tried to run, then slipped in the vomit, whilst the older one fell back and also slipped, falling on Cardiloc.

--------------------------

"The report says 'shiny glowing stone' 'crystal' and 'gemstone' were also used to describe it. It apparently emanated light." Belzagar repeated, growing frustrated.

"OHHH, ok! So that's what it is! Well, in that case, then.... still no clue. Sorry, General," the Haradrim apologized, innocently shrugging.

“Endo calm the fuck down.” He told the pair of them, pushing them off. “We’re fine for now,” He waited for them to get up. “Now older Endo get Berethor and my sister.” He told the elder one, before turning to the younger one. “This must be very confusing, you see you just teleported across the city a few times. That’s my ability as a shifter, now, where is Mirecy. I came to this thrice cursed city to find her and I will not leave without her. I may not like you, you shrivelling weasel but I’m your only chance of getting out of this city and not ending up in a cell. Work with me, where is she?” Cardiloc asked.

Iver gave Orome the stink-eye, but followed his order, kneeling to allow both him and Lil Tali to climb on his back. After they would do that he would fly down mumbling to himself about how much of a self centered Orome was.

The Dwarf Giant gave a salute and followed the Tricks-, I mean, Orome down the tunnel he made. He was incredibly excited. In the Adorn, Aule was regarded as one of the most important Valar, and given much praise. It was He who taught the Adornians how to create weapons to feed themselves and defend their lands, and it was He would told them where the richest lodes of ores were. So the chance to meet Him in person... almost as good as meeting Tulkas.

They flew into a cavernous gorge that reached into the depths of the earth. Bedrock lay around them and it stretched on for miles. Fortunately they saw their target almost immediately.

Webs of iron that hung from the stone ceiling stretched across the cavern making it difficult for Iver to fly through as he had to avoid being caught in them. They all led to a pinpoint exaggerated rocky outcrop that held a single soul. A hairy figure left naked but for a single ripped brown loincloth was spread-eagled in place by the chains. They were almost as thick as Telimekhtar's skull and broader than his chest.

"Dimitri, I need you to use your jaw. Break the chains." The Trickster's casual tone had become so much more serious as he commanded the Forochelrim who was now attached to the ceiling, his claws embedding him in the stone as he crawled about like a spider.

"Bring us down to him, Iver. Try to freeze the chains connected to his arms. Telimekhtar help." Orome asked them both.

-------------------------

Older Endo rushed off in search of Ela.

"Wha-wha-you again-no!" The younger Endo cried, "Mirecy? Teleport? What the fu-PHEEEEWWWW-" He vomitted again before coming to his senses whilst doubled-over. "Mirecy is dead. She turned herself into a crystal. And they have her. Those black cloaked men. And the one with the voice...the one who commanded us to freeze. His their leader isn't he? He took Mirecy!" Endo exclaimed.

BAM.

The door opened behind Cardiloc and Endo stood there with Ela in hand. "Let go of me!" Ela screamed as she struggled in the older man's grasp.

BOOM.

The door flung open and Berethor came out. "Mirecy?!"

BLAM.

The front door flung open and Shin rushed in with a dagger in hand seeing a host of characters appear. The Armoured Shifter, the Hybrid Shifter, two twins, one haunced over a pool of vomit and the other abducting a young Gondorian gal. He had just walked in on a crime scene.

------------------------

Are you fucking serious?

Sigeric and Ha'zi heard Ostopher's thoughts.

They're all lying. It can't just be one. Never should've trusted these foreigners. Should've just killed them. And now look at this mess. The elf is free and has who knows what with him.

"I see," Belzagar turned away from the shifters and looked to Ostopher. "Are the necessary arrangements ready?"

"What?" His aide-de-camp asked.

"The mission." Belzagar coughed.

"Oh...yes."

"Good. Take your squadron and mine. Also the Behemoth Shifter as a precaution. I want this handled smoothly." He whispered then turned to the rest of the audience, "Ranger Squadrons Ten and Eleven you shall depart the city on the morrow for a diplomatic expedition to negotiate with the Proto-Giant folk. This is a non-hostile mission but you be armed. Ostopher shall be in command and you shall be accompanied by the Behemoth," He pointed to the Hobbit, "I know he does not look the part but I assure you that you shall be glad to have him should things go south. This is a priority one endeavor. No assault of any kind, only self-defense. If the negotiations fail, fall back. Do not engage. Am I understood?"

"SIR!!" The cry went up.

"All involved personnel, you are dispatched. Collect your personal belongings and be ready on the morrow." Belzagar ordered them and they began to disperse, raising from their seats and moving up the rows towards the rear exit. The General looked at Ostopher, "Take the girl. We can use her. If they refuse to return the Leviathan to us, then use her as a bargaining tool for an exchange." He whispered.

"Daugo Burgins, I expect you no foul play in this. I am entrusting your protection to my personal guard. Do not fail me." Belzagar turned to the other two, "As for the Guardian and Warrior, you both shall remain behind as a safeguard for Gondor in the case that we are to be attacked by Morgoth or any other. You are also required for the Festival. Especially you, Mister Redhaven."

"I know she's crystalised, I guess she's still there. And the one with the voice." He scratched his head. "What did he look like?" He turned his attention to his sisters appearance. "Ela, it's fine. We're leaving." Cardiloc assured his sister. "Mirecy ain't here Berethor, she's out there cry-." He began before Shin opened the door. "Fucks sake." He muttered, he'd look over at the Gondorian, not that fucking cunt. "You stuffed a sock in my mouth you son of a bitch." He seethed, angry. He’d teleport behind the man and knocked him out.

"Iver do this, Iver do that" Iver muttered to himself as he glided down towards the chains. "Damnit Iver, I have to do everything by myself" he added as he balanced himself in air next to the chain Dimitri was the closest to and breathed frost on the chain, waiting for ice chunks to form and show that the chain was completely frozen. "Sure Iver I can do that for you, actually fuck you. Now help me" he muttered as he moved away, giving Dimitri space to chew the new formed popsicle.

Completely caught up in his excitement, Dimitri began his offensive on the chains that held back the Valar. He went for the chain that Iver froze first, strike with a great, echoing roar. As soon as that one shattered, he made his way to the next, repeating his battle cry and striking with fervor at the chains.

The chains broke under the stress of both Karoltai and slowly they snapped, falling away, echoes of their destruction filling the cavern.

"Iver I swear to-"

"Who has come into my domain?"

A voice deeper than the bowels of Utumno resounded throughout the gorge. It was more animalistic than human and was spoken in the language of the Valar. Telimektar paused midway through snapping the chain attached to Aule's leg. Iver felt Orome tense on his back. What the fuck had just spoken?

----------------------

Shin watched before his eyes as the Hybrid vanished into thin air. He then heard something land behind him and a fist bashed into the back of his head. Shin hit the deck a second later.

Unfortunately for Cardiloc, the more was not knocked out yet the Dunlending did not know that.

"Berethor, you mind keeping an eye on him, make sure the bastards secure." He told the Gondorian before turning to the rest of his companions; which were very few indeed. "Alright, we're taking another jump, Ela you've done this before just take my hand. Endo," He looked at the pair. "Neither of you go blackng out on me, younger Endo take my hand, older one take his, Berethor grab that cunt and get ready we're ditching this town." He decided, holding out his hands.

The ranger's eyes grew wide in surprise, moreso because of finding so many shifters, and of the vomit- that was just foul. The thought of a crime barely registered to him, for as soon as he opened his mouth to exclaim, Shin witnessed a bizarre sight then was immediately hit on the back of his head, causing him to collapse to the floor. However, he could still grasp at consciousness, which he decided to use to his advantage. So, Shin mocked being truly unconscious, which he actually had a great deal of skill in after many years of bullying and beatings from his youth.

Iver's screech echoed down the cavernous walls before coming to an end. It lasted two minutes before his noise dissipated. There was silence. Sweat crept down the Dalishman whilst inside the bat-like form. He heard an eerie hissing of the air...

"RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

The loudest roar that Iver ever heard shatter the Flying Giant's ears. Telimekhtar fell before his eyes, his body tumbling off the rock that held Aule whilst the Vala remained unmoving still tethered to the majority of his chains. Iver could not see the Trickster but he felt him upon his back. He couldn't hear anything except for a loud ringing in his ears. Were those the bats' ears or Iver's?

Dimitri too experienced a mind-shattering numbness to his earlobes. There had been an earsplitting roar and then the ringing. Was he deaf?

--------------------------------

"Wait you want me to take him with us?" Berethor asked before he even walked over to Shin.

14628767 8861015 16315828 12700073

Dimitri cringed for a solid minute when the man roared, then heard only an incredibly annoying ringing. Stupid Iver. He always brags about being great at everything and that its always other people's fault, then he does dumb shit like this. Dimitri still took a ready stance and prepared for battle.

“Yeah, he might have information. Information I need,” Card nodded to Berethor. “Now come on, let’s go.” He confirmed to Berethor.

"It would be a pleasure and an honor," said the Hobbit, nodding courteously. "I do not use my powers lightly; you can trust that I shan't play foully."

It burnt in his head as the thoughts overwhelmed him. But he had to do it, he had to do this for the sake of his father, the only family he had left. He departed from Gondor and left them so he could finally reunite with his father, before he eventually knew that his father had been kidnapped from someone. It was his fault of sorts, if he was but a normal dwarf this wouldn't have happend. Yet it happend and he alone could rescue his father, so he'd have to find Aule, one way or another. All these thoughts rushed through his head. Had he realy abandoned them, his friends? He woke up as he heard his two companions shout. He would step out of the carriage, looking at the dwarves. "Ya sure?" Thoruk would be a step closer to reuniting with his friends after he'd be at the protos village again. "Hopefully Iver that bugger has shown up again." he'd think as he looks around for the right direction. If he found somewhat of the right direction he would try something new. He would kneel down and put a hand onto the ground, concentrating onto the ground, trying to feel the steps of people in this certain direction. Would he spot something or would it be the wrong direction?

Iver's ears hurt as the terrible scream filled the cave, knocking him out of balance. "Fucking damit" He thought to himself as he regained his balance, the last time he heard something that loud was when his sister told their father she was pregnant after losing a bet with Iver, that was the last time she made a bet with him.
Iver saw Lil Tali falling down and of course saving him was up to him because as usual, Dimitri was useless. With that in mind he glided down to catch Lil Tali who probably was unconscious and wouldn't be able to defend himself.
