VENTURES INTO THE REMOTE (RP)

"O-ok-oooaaaaahhhhh-" Endo's voice cut off as he began to choke, grasping at his neck. He doubled-back and fell over clasping at his jugular.

Thoruk saw someone approaching behind Cardiloc, a dark figure coming out of the forest ahead of him. He was slung over Card's back and the Hybrid Shifter was facing towards the village, looking away from what was coming.

-----------------------------

"What? Arandil?" She rushed to his side, reaching the horse and panting. "What are you doing here?!" She seemed to have missed everything he said. The crowds were loud and far below Arandil could hear clapping and shouting like thunder then a loud horn.

-----------------------------

Crack. Mirecyla felt herself push through a barrier and hit another. A glass mirror reflecting herself. She could see her own face and the person she had become. She saw the faces of all she had killed over the years. Men. Elves. Orcs. The lot of them. They were staring back at her. Taunting her. And Sauron's eyes gleamed in that glass.

"Mirecy-break free-otherwise I might have to-" Berethor's voice was becoming clearer yet it was still oh so distant.

-------------------------------

Fanfare and the horn of Gondor sounded throughout the house the Giants had been gathered in. The soldier kept peering out the window whilst the black man stared at them. Did he even blink? Dimitri swore he had yet to close those eyes.

Daugo took a step back but covered it up by shuffling his feet as if to check them for any stains. He was somewhat disturbed by the size of the black man and the way he was breathing so heavily but he kept quiet.

"Anytime now..." The soldier muttered.

--------------------------

As the horn of Gondor blew, the soldiers standing guard finally broke ranks and began cheering and shouting war cries. "FOR GONDOR!!! ARAGORN!!!!" Their voices traveled far and wide. The entire audience had been riled up into a frenzy clapping, cheering and shouting.

"It's true. There are many issues that keep the realms of our Arda from joining hands. But I believe we can band together in the face of this powerful enemy as we have before!"

Sigeric was proud to see that the festival not only had the pronounced effect of rallying together the peoples of Middle-Earth but such was their hope and cheer that it brought tears to his eyes. His King, Aragorn, had brought such fierceness and emotion from such a diverse lot of individuals. The words of the King moved Sigeric's heart. Any doubt he had about him became removed. This man...

Aragorn II Elessar was worthy of inheriting the Guardian Giant.

-------------------------

The torchlight flickered in the cellar as the thudding and thumping and yelling and shouting and clanging and roars of everything occurring above them climaxed.

"All of us. And do as Frodo did and vanquish this powerful enemy from our world. Once and for all!" Aragorn blazoned as Miriel held Ha'zi hand firmly and brought him towards her. She was shorter by two inches and looked at him with those knowing emerald eyes, her freckles creased as she smiled. She did not need to say anything else as she leaned in to kiss him.

"We should be able to overcome anything if we're able to work as one united alliance!!" Aragorn's speech continued while Ela backed away from the pair, confused, frightened and somewhat disgusted at the turn of events.

16315828 12700073 8861015 15756962 18199471

Cardiloc nodded before Endo fell over after cutting off mid sentence, he looked over st him confused. “You alright there Endo?” Cardiloc knelt down beside the man, something was wrong. He... he was choking. “Oh shit!!!” He cursed aloud.

Neither did Ha'zi have to say a word more, bending down without resistance to fall into the kiss. He wrapped his arms around her to completely pull her too him, pressing tightly and feeling her body in joyous relief after so, so maddeningly long of being without comfort, without a reassuring presence by his side, without a companion... without love.

Sigeric wept tears of joy nearly all thoughts of an attack having been erased form his mind as he listened to Aragorns speech, this man... this man was more than this world. A worthy king, a worthy inheritor, a worthy father and husband, he was everything the world needed for he was worthy of the task. This was a man he would admire for years to come, someone he was honored to call friend, honored to call his king, no foe would be able to stand in the way of the armies if he led the charge, no better man to face the darkness than him, and Sigeric would be right by his side. He would continue to slab the halberd and blow the horn adding to the noise
———————————————————————
Mirecyla would suddenly break through the haze and fall face first against something hard “ow, what the fuck is-“ She recoiled upon seeing the faces, all of them sneering and taunting and behind them all with glowing eyes of orange was none other than Sauron, the one who had made Mirecyla what she was, a monster, a killer, a true embodiment of fear. She hated him, she hated him for making her like this monster, Berethor was still far away but that doesn’t ace, that fucking face, it pissed her off. Mirecylas eyes would seem to emit a dark mist as she brought her hand back, fingers curling into a fist as fangs took the place of her teeth, skin started to turn a dark shade of purple and gray spikes began to protrude all over her body, ripping her clothing and causing her skin to bleed

By now her fist had swelled into an enormous size, the muscles bulging as she began to succumb to that hate and turn herself into a monster, she’d let out a screech and send her fist straights for his face, pouring her power to rip it apart, she’d kill him, she swore it

Endo continued to choke as Cardiloc turned around and a blast of energy hit him, rendering him and his passenger unconscious.

---

Card's eyes opened and he found himself pinned to a tree. Branches had penetrated his forearms and calves, peeling through the skin and ringing around until they tied him to the tree. His blood soaked the bark like sap oil. He was mildly concussed and to his right, he saw Endo in a similar situation and to his left was Thoruk, who was still a torso but had begun to steam, his wounds healing. All three had been crucified.

"Who are you?" He heard a distinctly feminine voice. Was that Miriel? "I asked you a question. Don't make me repeat myself." She was just like Miriel and then Cardiloc realized when he brought his eyes up to see her fully.

Was that Aranel? What was she doing...she knew who he was...right? The Dunlending was so out of it that he couldn't get his bearings together.

-----------------------

The mirror shattered as her claw went through it and suddenly Mirecyla found herself in an entirely different place. She felt steam come off her skin and someone tightly embrace her and then her eyes opened and she saw the starry sky and heard a chorus of noises but a voice cut through all the madness and whispered into her ear.

"Don't worry. I'm here now." Berethor held her tightly. The crystal had split open and released her and she had come tumbling out into his arms. "I won't ever let you go."

-----------------------

Was he crying? Aragorn did not know nor care anymore. His eyes were filled with emotion as he cried out to the people, his people, the people of Middle-Earth. Those people that would fight for their freedom against the enemy.
"As King of the Reunited Kingdom of Arnor and Gondor, I, Aragorn II Elessar-"

-----------------------

Their kiss was a slow one but it ended too quickly for Ha'zi's likes. She pulled away from him a little, breathing deeply.

"I'll always protect my family. I just keep moving forward. Until my family is safe-" Miriel said softly, gazing into the distance.

"WISH FOR OUR PEACE!!" The King's voice cut over hers.

"And my enemies are destroyed." Miriel's bloody hand tightened around Ha'zi's and began to glow. She stared him dead in the eyes

"AND SO I PROCLAIM ON THIS DAY!!!"

Ela's eyes widened and her jaw dropped. It was at that moment that all of Ha'zi's dreams were shattered.

Cardiloc’s eyes went wide at the wall of energy, was that Be- everything went black.

[rule]

Cardiloc awoke, where in Wulf’s name was he. He looked around and attempted to move; no use, he was tied to a... tree? Suddenly he remembered... Endo!? Oh, there he was, Thoruk too... funny. He glanced at the figure asking him questions, his vision was blurry and his head hurt, a lot. “Miriel...?” He mumbled, unsure of whom this person was. Wait, it was Ara-..? No, he wasn’t quite sure, his head really did hurt, thoughts were momentary as he tried to focus on reality. “C-Card.” He said in response, totally out of it.

Sigeric would stand straight at attention, his horn blowing and halberd slamming having stopped as what seemed to be the climax of the speech began. He was on the edge of his seat, or rather crystal as he waited for him to finish, not thinking to see how the others were doing
——————————————————
And so with a ghastly screech her hand broke through that barrier and shattered all around her she felt herself falling but before she could save herself she felt someone grab ahold of her and a familiar voice spoke in her ear -Don’t worry. I’m here now. I won’t ever let you go-and with those words and that voice she returned to normal. Mist disappearing into the air as spikes, claws, fangs, and skin fell to the floor like sludge steaming. Mirecyla would sob in the arms of Berethor crying as she held tight to him, wondering if any of this was real

Finally, he was with her, after many sleepless nights spent alone, after trial and folly and venture. He was finally... finally happy. Finally full again, complete. Fulfilled.

Then, he wasn't.

"Until my family is safe- and my enemies are destroyed."

His heart had been bared open once more, and just like the prior, was torn to pieces with simplicity. "Miriel... Miriel, why... No! NO! Not... n-not again," Ha'zi gasped out, shaking.

"Why...?" He said one last time, crushed. The Haradrim soon turned back to the girl behind, barking, "Ela... G-go! Leave! PLEASE!" Then, he averted his line of sight back to Miriel, back to the traitor, the manipulator- and he rushed right at her, going to envelop his twisted love.

CHAPTER 15: ALL-OUT WAR

"What is a Kard?" Aranel asked, moving about somewhat impatiently. Behind her, a bit toward the rear was Glorfindel's body or what Card assumed to be his body. His upper-half was covered by the dark cape and only his legs were visible...had she done something to the elf? Did she kill Glorfindel?

-----------------------

"Shhh. It's okay. I won't let anyone hurt you again." Berethor cradled her head against his chest and stayed like that for a long time. His other hand pat her long matted hair back over and over, comforting her.

-------------------------

"TO THE ENEMY AND ITS FORCES!!!" Aragorn shouted at the top of his lungs, his arms outstretched and open to the world as if summoning them.

--------------------------

"Ha'zi!" Ela screamed in shock, her legs buckled and she ran after him. Her voice was the last thing the Haradrim heard as Miriel's body enveloped in light.

--------------------------

"THIS IS A DECLARATION OF WAR!!!!!!"

KRAAAAAAKKKKK.

Sigeric noticed something happening behind the stage, the building was ripping open?!

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

The Savage Giant burst out of the building and onto the stage, roaring wildly. It caught sight of Aragorn beneath her.

The King gazed up, a look of twisted surprise and fright took him as he beheld the Enemy.

BOOOOOOMMMMMMM.

Miriel's foot came crashing down upon Aragorn. The crowd's cheers died down as everyone stared in shock.

Debris from the blown-out building came flinging down into the bleachers and audience as the Savage Giant roared out again so loudly that the entirety of the Pelennor heard it.

The war begins!!!

This clearly couldn't be future Aranel, but her past self, he had to be cautious. He spoke once more. "I-It’s my name, Cardiloc," He explained, before he caught sight of Glorfindels body, his breath caught. "W-what did you do to him?" He questioned her, glancing over at the elf's body. Was... was he dead? His face turned white and his heart beat increased, he awaited her reply nervously.

Sigeric nodded at his words, his adrenaline was high and he was hyped up, he was ready to take on the world! But then he noticed something, what the hell? Why was the building shaking? Then suddenly it hit him, but before he could warn the king Miriel burst out of the building and onto the stage, crushing him with her foot. Sigeric could only stare as she roared to the world before overwhelming rage came over him, bellowing he swung his halberd for her head, going to try and decapitate her, meanwhile he sent a mental message to her "YOU WILL FREEZE IN PLACE!"
-----------------------------------------------
Mirecyla after awhile stopped crying and broke free of Berethors grasp, sniffing and wiping away snot and tears she looked around, hearing the roar, was that Miriel? "Wh-Whats g-g-going on?"

Tamara would stare at this big man for a bit, although he looked realy ugly and she let out an "Ewwww" with some, not so friendly hand gestures, she tried to calm herself and stay behind Dimitri as she didn't feel very confident and had a strange feeling about this... Why were there in a room with only one soldier and outside was so much noise... what was happening?

--------------

He was falling and falling, it allmost seemed endless, before he was grabbed by Cardilocs eagle again. Glorfindel seemed to not be attacking them anymore... had he defeated him? So fast?...

"How'd you..." Thoruk was about to ask before he saw something approach Them from Cardilocs backside. "WATCH OUT!" but it was to late as all of them were knockt unconcious.

Thoruk awoke in his dreams.... a big white, stony pathway infront of him as he would walk along, looking out for any sign of life he walked for hours and hours before reaching a mountain, a mountain with a giant door and infront was a person... a dwarf!

He walked towards him, his hopes set high but... it looked like... it couldn't be, could it?

"Have ye missed me ye cunt?" Grombrindals voice went through his spine like a nightmare... Not this guy again.

"Why should I?" Thoruk would ask him in.

"Ye don't remember? I'm 'ere to haunt ye boy as for ye left everyone to die on their own!" he'd state

"Ye didn't go onto da caravan through the eastern iron hills although ye mother asked ye for help... ye denied cuz ye thought it was to borin' ah?"

"That' not true... I couldn't have helped her." Thoruk would state before his head hurt and a immage appeared infront of his eyes "Why have you left me to die Thoruk... all by myself...." a sad woman voice would say before he realised who it was.... he hadn't seen this face in ages... "M-mother..." he'd mumble as the face slowly disappeared, it's tears falling onto the ground and flowers sprang out of the ground where they landed in the middle of the white road...

"Oh- and surely ye haven't forgotten ye father, havent ye? Oh wait- twice ye sayin'? What a good son ye are..." Grombrindal would say a heroic laugh coming out of his mouth that slowly went quiet before his headache started again... this time his fathers face appeared. "FOR KING THROR!" he heard his father yell before all of them were slaughtered and captured... the skinny, almost lifeless body of his father sitting in this cage raised it's head and looked at Thoruk "I asked ye to come onto this mission with me.... yet ye left your own father to go onto a festival... alone to starve in this rotten hell full of orcs..." his father's voice would slowly drift away aswell, only the tears dripping onto the ground, only flowers left of his father... before he was about to witness his fathers death again...

"Please... s-stop..." Thoruk would mumble as his head was filled with pain again...

There he was... his father and infront of him... was Thoruk himself.. this time he saw the elf clearly, a disgusting smile on his face as he sliced through his father... "Why would you not go with the others? We could've been save... instead you killed the both of us... what kind of son are ye?" his father would ask as the blood splattered everywhere... but the trip through the hell was yet to begin, this was mere forshadowing as person after person followed, Arandil, left alone in the village with all the giants... his father who was captured by some enemies while Thoruk was having a good life. The two dwarves he had left to their death in the woods, Morgaz as he lured the Crocolion directly towards them... hell yea, even Grimnir in mordor... he fought against his own kin?

"YOU ARE NOT WORTHY TO ENTER DURINS HALLS" Grombrindal would shout at him.

Slowly but surely the white field of stone was no more... but instead a blooming field full of flowers, all made out of the tears of persons he left down...

Thoruk crumbled, laying on the ground hearing all their voices in his head as they shouted at him before a hand was offered to him out of nowhere... he looked up and took it as a dwarf helped him up... a dwarf covered in shiny white gemed armour, a mithril set none of their smiths would ever dream of creating and all the light repelled from the armour as the dwarf took of his helmet.

"Thoruk Ironbeard..."

Thoruk gasped in awe "Y-you are..."

"Durin the deathless as ye might now me... indeed" the majestic dwarf would say.

"I am here to tell you... you are not yet to enter my halls, as you still have duties to fullfill... and don't waver as there will always be a place for every dwarf... and I can assure you, your family already found their place within, they are looking out for you although it might not feel like it... You still have time on our beloved middle earth for you are Mahal's chosen one!" Durin would say leaning him a hand...

"Your family will wait for you... you... you..." the voice would slowly get quiet before Thoruk was feeling his body once more... it... regenerated...

He would stay quiet and calm, giving his body time to regenerate, ignoring everything around him.

To quote the mighty warrior-poet Marco the Brave: "Fack".

Assuming direct control. RAGE UNRELENTING.

Anger, stress, and frustration built up from the past few weeks was released into one bloodboiling burst of tard rage and incredible strength. The tipping point was that accursed pedo and his boyfriend. Summoning up his anger, Dimitri threw the huge knife he carried at the chest of that huge burly man, an easy feat with all his strength, then summoned a repeating crossbows and fired all his shots at the huge man. He would do this all without uttering a word.

''Dina.. I could ask the same for you.'' He got off the horse to greet his love. His family could wait, she was of the upmost importance to him right now. ''What are you doing here? Why are you in the land of the people that you said harmed and are after your family? Why are you here amidst your foes in this grand festival? Did you abandon your family? I need answers Dina. I'm.. worried for you. Did they find out anything after our last encounter?''

Before she could say anything he hugged her tightly trying hard not to tear up. Alas the attempt to never let his feelings overwhelm him was failing yet again.

"Oh, I-I just helped him out." She stepped forward, hesitantly, eyeing the trio fearfully. "W-who are you? How...? You must be special if you took down the Beast..." Shivers went down her spine. Aranel had seen him do things, such horrible things, and without remorse, or even an expression. Slaughter without resistance. He was powerful. Invincible, even. Yet... They bested him. They bested the Beast. And so, she regarded them as otherworldly.

"I suppose I'll have to find out." She snickered lightly, then flicked her wrist, freezing all in place. "A quick peek is all. Nothing major. Hold still, if you will, and relax." The redhead smiled, and begun the examination, a thin line cutting jaggedly across their foreheads. She hummed a merry tune as the agonizing procedure began.

“I-...” Cardiloc began before Aranel froze him and his companions in place, how could she even do that? Even her future self wasn’t able do to that... he’d quickly attempt to freeze time to break her control over himself before she did anything to him, yet found himself lacking the energy to do something about it. Then he felt the incision onto his forehead, the pain flaring.

Something happend as Thoruk felt pain across his forehead... yet he did not waver, nor twitch with an eyebrow. He took the pain as a good sign... a sign that he was still alive...

Aranel's melody ceased as the results became clear. Her eyes lit up, for each survived the original slice. Excellent. More abilities to harvest. Better yet, extremely powerful ones. Ones that could even rival the Beast's.

Clicking her tongue, she gazed at the three ravenously. "Well then, it seems you are the type. Pity- it would've been nice to get to know you better. Oh well." She placed her hands on her hips, tut-tutting. "Funny thing is, I don't even need to further the procedure- I can just choose! Boy oh boy, who will it be? Card-i-loc? Stick kid? Or maybe…"

Recognition flashed across her face, a devious smile lighting up. "You! Oh, I remember you." Aranel stepped towards the entranced dwarf. "You were with that little black kid Master Beren hated so… Oh, joy! Master will be so, so pleased with me for taking troublesome ol' you out!"

Aranel's hand shot out and clutched Thoruk's neck, the muscles in her arm pulsing and bulging. He could feel his airway compressing, her fingers digging tightly and quickly into the dwarf's neck, blood already starting to show. If Thoruk didn't do something soon, the last thing he would see would be the redhead bitch and her wicked emerald eyes.

Endo was wailing and crying the entire time. His forehead bled profusely and so too did the others. "Aranel please! I'm sorry for everything that happened in the past but you don't have to do this!" He said as she began choking the dwarf.

Cardiloc was able to slow time down for a brief moment but it all came back and he could do nothing but prolonge the inevitable. This was bad...bad...bad-

"We're still your family aren't we?!" Endo cried out. A desperate plea.

-----------------------------

Dina embraced him, repeating, "No. No. No. They don't know about us. Please, Arandil you have to esca-" And then he heard a deafening roar from the Pelennor. "It's too late..." Dina whispered.

-----------------------------

Berethor glanced to the side, looking at the edge of the citadel's great rock from where the roars were coming then back at Mirecy. "We came to save you and Endo. Taras only found you, though, and now Miriel is fighting Gondor alone. We need to get down there and help before they overwhelm her. Can you walk?" He tried to stabilize her with his big arms. She had grown a lot but she was still tiny compared to him.

-----------------------------

"UGH!" Raddis grunted as the bowie knife hit him. A crossbow appeared in Dimitri's hand and fired a number of bolts at him before running dry of its ammunition.

Daugo scampered back as the bolts flew, just missing him. He looked at Dimitri with shock. Had the Forochelrim lost it?!

"What the fuck are you doing?!" The soldier broke his composure as he watched Dimitri slaughter the black man. Then suddenly there was screaming and shouting outside. "It's happening..." Then Dimitri saw the black man slowly rise back up from his slouched position against the wall, and grip ahold of each bolt, ripping it out of his skin with grunts.

Tamara saw him sniff the air and stare at her and suddenly he looked far more intimidating.

------------------------

The Savage Giant roared and ducked, raising its left arm, a boney blade coming into contact with the halberd blocking it. Its eyes were ravenous and it screamed then looked at the thousands of people in the audience and chose its target, pouncing upon it.

"Eadwyn?" Lord Romestamor turned to see his colleague pushing through other officials on the bleachers, he turned his head back and saw it. "Ah. So this one can fly."

BOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMM.

The Savage Giant body-slammed the right bleachers, crushing the entirety of the military command in one blow. She had evaded Sigeric's strike and placed herself out of his halberd's reach. He'd have to move forward to reach her or use ranged weapons now but...it was too dangerous. The civilians...there were too many people in the way...

Where were the others? Ha'zi? Daugo? Tamara and Dimitri? He noticed the row they were meant to be sitting in and saw a large rock and a crushed body. Oh Eru.

"Halos! Someone move this rock! Halos is trapped!" Taura scream's were lost over the sound of thousands of people rushing and fleeing in fear. She tried moving a boulder on her own but it was far too large and her friend's legs were the only remnant of her. "Come on you idiot she's dead!" Brego shouted at the daughter of the Admiral and grabbed ahold of her and Alvador who was staring at the Savage with anger. "We have to get out of here!"
"No! We have to kill that thing!" He yelled in retort.
"Are you dumb we're only inheritors! Leave the fighting to the giants!" Brego slapped him and pulled both along as the crowd swept them up in the flurry.

Lady Eldrith was having a panic attack as her maids led her away from the carnage, fanning her sweaty embroiled face. "Giants..." She fainted.

"Aragorn!" Legolas yelled.
"Son," King Thranduil held him back, "He's dead."
"We'll avenge him!!" Gimli proclaimed and ran in the opposite direction of the crowd.
"Fool. These are beasts beyond our comprehension. We must return to the Elven Kingdoms to hold council over this matter. If we die here who shall lead our people against the enemy?!" Thranduil asked them.
"I don't like ya, elf. But Aragorn is right and so are ye. I should get Thoruk and bring the might of the seven clans. We've been preparing for this sorta thing but we can't fight right now. Gimli! Come we have to retreat ta fight anotha day!" King Thorin III Stonehelm agreed and they departed.

--------------------------

"Sir! The King-!" Crassen cried.
"I know. We can't do anything until the civilians clear the area. Prepared the anti-giant weapons." Vardamir grimaced as he watched their military leadership get massacred by the Savage Giant.

Sigeric would roar at the crowd ”Soldiers of Gondor! Of the Dwarven Kingdoms! Of the Elven Lands! Friends of old and new! Protect your kings and ride to arms, the enemy is upon us!
Fight! Fight for Aragorn! FIGHT!”
he said using his biomass to try and create a giant spike to rush up out of the ground under Miriel and thrust her into the air, what the hell had happened? How did they get here so quick? He looked over to where the inheritors were and saw the body, crying in his crystal chamber, that bastard, she’d pay. But more importantly where were the others?

———————————————————
Mirecyla would go to stand, she felt dizzy but felt fine “I think so, but I don’t know where Endo is, I think they killed him when we tried to esc-“ She faltered upon remembering what had happened, she was a coward, Even had tried to save them but that only got him killed. Tears once more began to fall before something suddenly caused her to stop “Wait where’s Tytus? He’d never allow this.” She said while attempting to work out her joints
———————————————————
Thoruk although dazed could still make out what was happening, especially once he found it harder to breath than before. Damn, this was where he doesn’t wasn’t it? That was a shame, he didn’t even get to say goodbye to Iver or Arandil, if only Ha’zi hasn’t thrown him off, then pa would of been alive. Thoruk would struggle to speak, having an idea, perhaps Cardiloc could do something “Wha-wa en muy. Ockt.” He struggled to say
