"O-ok-oooaaaaahhhhh-" Endo's voice cut off as he began to choke, grasping at his neck. He doubled-back and fell over clasping at his jugular.
Thoruk saw someone approaching behind Cardiloc, a dark figure coming out of the forest ahead of him. He was slung over Card's back and the Hybrid Shifter was facing towards the village, looking away from what was coming.
-----------------------------
"What? Arandil?" She rushed to his side, reaching the horse and panting. "What are you doing here?!" She seemed to have missed everything he said. The crowds were loud and far below Arandil could hear clapping and shouting like thunder then a loud horn.
-----------------------------
Crack. Mirecyla felt herself push through a barrier and hit another. A glass mirror reflecting herself. She could see her own face and the person she had become. She saw the faces of all she had killed over the years. Men. Elves. Orcs. The lot of them. They were staring back at her. Taunting her. And Sauron's eyes gleamed in that glass.
"Mirecy-break free-otherwise I might have to-" Berethor's voice was becoming clearer yet it was still oh so distant.
-------------------------------
Fanfare and the horn of Gondor sounded throughout the house the Giants had been gathered in. The soldier kept peering out the window whilst the black man stared at them. Did he even blink? Dimitri swore he had yet to close those eyes.
Daugo took a step back but covered it up by shuffling his feet as if to check them for any stains. He was somewhat disturbed by the size of the black man and the way he was breathing so heavily but he kept quiet.
"Anytime now..." The soldier muttered.
--------------------------
As the horn of Gondor blew, the soldiers standing guard finally broke ranks and began cheering and shouting war cries. "FOR GONDOR!!! ARAGORN!!!!" Their voices traveled far and wide. The entire audience had been riled up into a frenzy clapping, cheering and shouting.
"It's true. There are many issues that keep the realms of our Arda from joining hands. But I believe we can band together in the face of this powerful enemy as we have before!"
Sigeric was proud to see that the festival not only had the pronounced effect of rallying together the peoples of Middle-Earth but such was their hope and cheer that it brought tears to his eyes. His King, Aragorn, had brought such fierceness and emotion from such a diverse lot of individuals. The words of the King moved Sigeric's heart. Any doubt he had about him became removed. This man...
Aragorn II Elessar was worthy of inheriting the Guardian Giant.
-------------------------
The torchlight flickered in the cellar as the thudding and thumping and yelling and shouting and clanging and roars of everything occurring above them climaxed.
"All of us. And do as Frodo did and vanquish this powerful enemy from our world. Once and for all!" Aragorn blazoned as Miriel held Ha'zi hand firmly and brought him towards her. She was shorter by two inches and looked at him with those knowing emerald eyes, her freckles creased as she smiled. She did not need to say anything else as she leaned in to kiss him.
"We should be able to overcome anything if we're able to work as one united alliance!!" Aragorn's speech continued while Ela backed away from the pair, confused, frightened and somewhat disgusted at the turn of events.
