Glorfindel noted the words of the hobbit, "Even if he is, with our strength, Celeborn's leadership and the combination of all our strongest warriors, I believe we can defeat him." He turned to Iver and Thoruk, "Though, I have very little knowledge of your abilities. Tell me, how do your Karoltai work?"

There was a connection. Sigeric saw into their minds.
---
"Oh-what do I say?" Ela thought, Dimitri was bowing to her and she was stunned by the action.
"The Guardian, hmm, the one who can create weapons, like Ha'zi told me, interesting." Sigeric picked up Miriel's thought.
"How am I uncivilized?" Cardiloc was mulling over.
"Uhh, why is he staring at me like that? Do I have something on my face? Does Miriel see it? Is there food between my teeth? Oh no, there's mumakil between my teeth! I look like a moron. What am I even doing trying to impress her? Uh, what do I say to save the situation?" Unlike the others, Ha'zi's thoughts were rapid and bombarded Sigeric's mind.
---
"Oh, well thanks. It's no problem, Mister." Ela said to Dimitri staring at his scars. She was very intimidated even though the man was bowing to her.
Miriel stood up, tossed her scarlet hair back and stated, "It was nice to meet you all, I must use the privy." She glanced one last time at Sigeric before walking off.
As she walked away, the festivities grew. Many servants passed by offering drinks: beer, mead, wines, ales; from places like Dorwinion to the far shores of Umbar. Luxurious fruits like fig and peach were passed around as well as the exotic dragonfruit and pineapple. Plates that had been emptied were taken away and deserts replaced them. Confectionaries, cakes, and chocolates littered the long table. Marco began to stuff his mouth full of carrot cake.
"My friends, let us eat like Kings!" One of the elves shouted through the hall, standing up with a raised cup of wine. The musicians continued to play whilst the two elven twins they had seen earlier had begun helping themselves to food, sitting near Lord Celeborn and King Aragorn.
There seemed to be nothing that would ruin the lunch.

Pyrus' eyes met Morgoth's form. He was sitting on the throne and speaking to Mairon.
"They have been deployed to welcome our guests, but I don't see why we cannot use the orcs. Much more expendable. Why can't you raise more?"
"You know why. After empowering you all, I am low on power. I need to save some and rest until I can raise more. If you want more orcs, go capture some Ainur for me to drain of energy. Otherwise, have faith in me, Mairon."
Pyrus overheard their conversation as he walked in. Both turned to look at him. As usual, Morgoth was grimacing. It was his natural look. On the other hand, Mairon lit up with a smile upon noticing another fellow Maia of Aule.
"Welcome, brothers!" He hailed them, "Have you completed the fence?"
