VENTURES INTO THE REMOTE (RP)

"We will have to speak to you later about that." Cardiloc commented between mouthfuls. "For now enjoy this food." He smacked his lips, finishing off the mumakil leg and wiping the sauce from his mouth.

Iver looked for paper and when found paper and something to write with he left a note saying what he feared would hurt her even more "I left you the keys to our old house, you should move there and take care of the place. Im leaving to avange our father's death. Take care, love you, Iver"
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Iver slowly got up. "My name is Iver, and I must thank you" Iver saod before grabbing a glass of whatever and drank it so fast that he started coughing.

"Of course, you could, there's a lot more food in there," Glorfindel said, "It's a bit too loud for me in there." He motioned at Merethrond with his pale white eyebrows. "You might want to slow down there, friend," He smiled as Iver tried to choke himself with the mug of water.

"So, you're the infamous Karoltai, I suppose we'll be paired together to fight Morgoth if he is indeed in Mordor."

Miriel ripped off a piece of lamb from its rib like a feral animal and burped loudly afterwards in front of both Cardiloc and Ha'zi, then slammed the rack down on her plate which was now stripped ribs.

Sigeric witnessed all three of them acting like savages. The elves also took notice but said nothing in order to remain polite.

"You know hazi we don't have to be competitive we're a team. We need to work together." Cardiloc reasoned with the boy.

"Heh, maybe some of us like Thoruk got selected to fight Morgoth. The rest of us" He pointed at daugo and himself, "We got here by accident" He said and continued to eat.

Ha'zi raises an eyebrow at Card's words. "Whatever," he mumbles through the food, "I just wanted some Mumakil.. never had it before."

He notices Sigeric still standing there watching them. Ha'zi gulps his remaining food, then says to him, "Wanna sit down and eat? There's still a lot of food left." 12519458

After a slightly long journey Pyrus and the rest of his squad would have arrived at Gorgoroth, the fortress large and brooding in the former desolate plains of Mordor. Now the land was thriving, lost was the ashes and nothing of before, and now there was life. Once entering the fortress Pyrus would lead the group to the chamber where he came back with the Prisoners from the Door's of Day. On the way there the others would start to shove each other in playful ways, Saenes and Élnim would be talking quietly with one another, rolling their eyes as Uasset grabbed Naisón in a headlock and started to rub dig his knuckles into his head, Ruollat had to stop from laughing, and Thalól complained about being hungry. Pyrus would smile, he was glad he met them and enjoyed having their company, keeping them alive was the most important thing to him now.

After a few more minutes of walking and having fun he would speak up "Alright guys, time to calm down. Heads up, chest out, and no slouching, lets give Morgoth a good impression on us eh?" He said giving Uasset a playful punch in the shoulder. Turning to the doors that led to the hall, he would go to push them open if they were closed, if they were open he would walk through and look to see if Morgoth was here.

Sigeric looked with suppressed amusement at Ha'zi and Cardiloc. "Why don't you two slow down and eat like civilized men? You're upsetting the Elves." In truth, Sigeric cared little about their table manners. It all seemed so insignificant compared to what was at stake - what they had already been through. He simply wanted to converse with someone. A rarity indeed, but these were unusual times. He looked back towards the Southron and Dunlending. Was this a rivalry that he sensed between them? Perhaps it had something to do with that girl whom he had seen them with.

"I dunno why," Daugo said, "but something tells me he is. I... I just know it." He shuddered. "It's amazing how your folk are so brave and mighty that they can fight the Enemy himself. The elves I mean. And yes," he added, hearing Iver's remark, "most of us were more than reluctant to be given this curse, myself included."

"How do we eat like civilised men...?" The dunlending looked genuinely confused. "I thought everyone ate like this." Cardiloc confessed to Sigeric.

Ha'zi wipes his face with his napkin before addressing him. "Mm, well, to be honest, most people see Haradrim and Dunlendings as uncivilized tribes anyways, so no harm, no foul. But, sorry anyways, guys," he says to the others around him, yawning, famished from his meal, "I was just really hungry, and we kinda had a crazy week." 12519458

"Most people use silverware." Sigeric replied, lifting his fork and knife. He nodded at Ha'zi's response, glancing at a nearby platter of mushrooms. "I suppose that makes two of us." he said, slowly pushing away the dish in question. Sigeric was silent for a moment. The loud clamor of the dining hall reminded him of something... He recalled his newfound ability, which had last manifested itself in the battle against the Armoured Giant. He remembered the terrible rush of voices, barely able to be distinguished from one another. It had the potential to be a powerful tool, if he could learn to better focus it on individuals. What better place to practice than a crowded feast? As Sigeric focused his mind, he continued to converse with Ha'zi and Cardiloc. "I see several new faces here." he said, glancing at Miriel and Ela. "How did you all become acquainted?"

"Ela here is Cardiloc's sister, and Miriel is a Lord's daughter that joined us." It dawns on Ha'zi that their companions probably have no idea who this man in front of them is. "Oh, um, Ela and Miriel, this is Sigeric. He's another giant shifter from our group." Dimitri got up after eating his meal and approached Cardiloc's sister. "Hello, my lady. It seems that I have unintentionally caused you suffering on your journey here. For this, I apologize." He takes a knee and bowed. "Forgive me."

The elf company had begun conversing in elvish - finishing up Zaro begin sharpening his knives until each one was extremely sharp

Glorfindel noted the words of the hobbit, "Even if he is, with our strength, Celeborn's leadership and the combination of all our strongest warriors, I believe we can defeat him." He turned to Iver and Thoruk, "Though, I have very little knowledge of your abilities. Tell me, how do your Karoltai work?"

There was a connection. Sigeric saw into their minds.

---

"Oh-what do I say?" Ela thought, Dimitri was bowing to her and she was stunned by the action.
"The Guardian, hmm, the one who can create weapons, like Ha'zi told me, interesting." Sigeric picked up Miriel's thought.
"How am I uncivilized?" Cardiloc was mulling over.
"Uhh, why is he staring at me like that? Do I have something on my face? Does Miriel see it? Is there food between my teeth? Oh no, there's mumakil between my teeth! I look like a moron. What am I even doing trying to impress her? Uh, what do I say to save the situation?" Unlike the others, Ha'zi's thoughts were rapid and bombarded Sigeric's mind.

---

"Oh, well thanks. It's no problem, Mister." Ela said to Dimitri staring at his scars. She was very intimidated even though the man was bowing to her.

Miriel stood up, tossed her scarlet hair back and stated, "It was nice to meet you all, I must use the privy." She glanced one last time at Sigeric before walking off.

As she walked away, the festivities grew. Many servants passed by offering drinks: beer, mead, wines, ales; from places like Dorwinion to the far shores of Umbar. Luxurious fruits like fig and peach were passed around as well as the exotic dragonfruit and pineapple. Plates that had been emptied were taken away and deserts replaced them. Confectionaries, cakes, and chocolates littered the long table. Marco began to stuff his mouth full of carrot cake.

"My friends, let us eat like Kings!" One of the elves shouted through the hall, standing up with a raised cup of wine. The musicians continued to play whilst the two elven twins they had seen earlier had begun helping themselves to food, sitting near Lord Celeborn and King Aragorn.

There seemed to be nothing that would ruin the lunch.

Pyrus' eyes met Morgoth's form. He was sitting on the throne and speaking to Mairon.

"They have been deployed to welcome our guests, but I don't see why we cannot use the orcs. Much more expendable. Why can't you raise more?"

"You know why. After empowering you all, I am low on power. I need to save some and rest until I can raise more. If you want more orcs, go capture some Ainur for me to drain of energy. Otherwise, have faith in me, Mairon."

Pyrus overheard their conversation as he walked in. Both turned to look at him. As usual, Morgoth was grimacing. It was his natural look. On the other hand, Mairon lit up with a smile upon noticing another fellow Maia of Aule.

"Welcome, brothers!" He hailed them, "Have you completed the fence?"

"well, if we hurt our selves we can transform into our giant state. Each giant has different abilities and can do different stuff. Card, the barbarian from dunlan for example can transform twice in a row and can become any giant animal he wants. He can become Drake, eagle, giant wolf, bear and such. Thoruk here can control the elements like move water, lava, rocks and air.
Daugo here, because of my fault, stuck with the most powerful giant there is. He is the behemoth, a giant the size of a mountain, covered in fire and extremely strong.
We also got some nice tattoos so that's going for us"

"Well, that's a lot to take in." Glorfindel mused, "When you transform what exactly happens?" The elf waited whilst they ate for the Dalishman or his comrades to explain.
