Honestly I am not suprised that ToW closed. The lower level (non-community players) of EW and ToW/Conwy were the same. When EW closed, most of those players moved on. Ah well, RIP castle siege.

My Memories of EmpireWar...
I'll try not let this be as rambling and as bereft of punctuation as others' posts.

I think I first came on EmpireWar around February 2013. My first game was on Minas Tirith, being ruined by a certain Wixxi as armoured troll (hue hue, one could say I learnt from the best).

On RP, I had great fun for those few weeks with Thu in the fortress of Khazan-Vuor, and was naturally devastated when it closed. I don't think I played on EmpireWar much for about a year after that - due to more personal Minecraft projects (and other games, of course.)

Probably around New Year 2015 I started playing more frequently again (though I do remember playing that Survival/RP server that was up for like 1 day). In about June I changed my name to Tobberz, and after that I joined Ice's towny server. There I actually began to speak in chat .

From then on, it escalated. Since ~October 2015 my whole experience has rocketed. And it has been brilliant!

I look forward to continue playing with all you brilliant people (not naming names), on EQ and elsewhere.
