VENTURES INTO THE REMOTE (RP)

Dimitri took in the chaos and brutality of the ambush and felt the discipline drilled into him during his militia years kick in. He enjoyed this, he was made for it. That, and drinking. He toss his bundle on the ground and grabbed his warhammer and sword, then climbed onto the red dragon. "C'mon, laddie boy! Battle awaits!" Dimitri shouted eagerly with a faint smile. And so did his doom.

Marco looked up, “I know but I wanna fight! I don’t just wanna sit aroun’ and do nuthin’, guys!” He plead.

”Make haste, Master Cardiloc!” Celeborn shouted at the Red Drake.

Sigeric nodded solemnly to Celeborn. "Avoiding capture is our utmost priority. We will do what we must." Sigeric then responded to Thoruk's question. "We have all confronted Giants as mortals in the past. Marco has as well. He survived the island, and he can survive a while longer. We need all of the assistance that we can receive." Sigeric chose not to mention the rest of his thought process regarding the issue - when the new Giants fell, their powers would need a host. "It appears that you will be getting the fight that you desire. Just don't throw away your life." Sigeric said, reaching out and helping Marco climb onto the back of the flying giant.

Sigeric smiled grimly to the rest of the group as Iver gave a subdued screech and took off, the force of his wings blowing up dust from the desolate plateau. They flew towards Ha'zi and Miriel in an arc that would take them across the path of Elrohir's cohort, and the Giant pursuing them.

The dragon flew up into the air, his wings sending great gusts of wind both ways. Card ascended into the air swooping up until he was above the fence. He then stared down at the serpent and armoured giants. "What's our strategy north man?" He asked his fellow Karoltai.

Seeing he has a very slight advantage over the newly transformed Miriel, the Warrior tries to grab the Savage's neck and do a hard punch to its face.   12253360

Daugo sighed. "Very well then," he said briskly, before settling in his place and watching the battle unfold. It was a sad necessity, and he had no objection to not putting his life on the line just yet; but he still felt a slight tingle of remorse as he saw all the lives being wasted fighting Morgoth's creatures.

"Kill the armored one first. He seems reckless, from what I've heard, so he should be easier. We need to try and enrage it, maybe get it to run over that serpent thing or crash into a cliff side, then go for a weak spot."

"Perhaps I could keep him busy while you knock him over on the ground. Or I could drop you mid air and you transform head first. Your choice." The dragon reasoned with Dimitri.

Elrohir’s men seemed to slow at the sight of the Flying Giant but he yelled them on, “Behind us is the Enemy! Keep going!”

Sigeric, Iver, Thoruk and Marco saw the new Giant. It was a fifteen-meter on all fours with rocky skin that had cracks and spikes protruding from it. It looked like one a tiny mountain and a huge troll had a baby and that baby was given life. They were crossing into its path.

Mirecyla’s attention was taken off the horsemen when she saw the huge bat flying towards her. Was this an enemy Karoltai?

As Cardiloc flew up and over the fence, the Gondorian Cavalry Regiment spread out beneath him. They had formed up with heavy cavalry at the center, lights on the flanks and archers in the rear. They were facing the Armoured and Serpent Giants who seemed to be idling to the west of the Udun Valley.

Berethor looked up and saw the red drake. It must be the Hybrid Giant. He’d have to keep Evenis safe. He turned and looked down to his partner, offered his huge hand to him and allowed Even to jump on, curl around his arm and slither around his neck. Evenis started to build up acid, coughing and spitting a bit in preparation for the red drake.

Dimitri could see the Serpent wrap around the Armoured’s neck, almost protectively. Both were waiting for them.

Miriel had merely healed (not transformed) and upon seeing Ha’zi’s hand reach over, she grabbed it with her own and tugged him, pulling Ha’zi to her, twisting around and flinging the Warrior Giant into the air above her, then slamming him down into the ground. It all happened so quickly and Ha’zi saw the ground rushing up to meet his face before he knew what had occurred.

The Savage Giant let go of the Warrior’s hand and allowed him to fall. His back was to her but she relented to continue her attack, just standing there and watching him.

“Move around this Giant and reform with Elrohir’s cohort!” Harros ordered as they attempted to avoid the two Giants fighting one another in the field. Zaro saw the boy Ha’zi’s resemblance in the Giant which was being trashed.

Meanwhile, Glorfindel kept his distance as the Savage tossed the Warrior around. He couldn’t get close with her being able to move. One swift kick to his horse and he was good as dead. The Savage needed to be restrained before he could move ahead.

The first elven cohort had arrived. They had less than half their soldiers left. To the southeast was another group returning, the one with Karstir, Harros and most of the elves that Daugo knew by name. He saw them cut off from reaching Celeborn by the fight between Miriel’s Giant and Ha’zi’s. The third cohort had not even shown up, not even a single firework had been fired from the south. What had happened to them?

Mirecyla upon looking at the red light that was shot into the air was able to notice the giant bat, that and the fact that she noticed the large shadow of the giant. She racked her memory not remembering that any of them had the ability to turn into a giant bat, this must be one of the enemy giants, maybe the hybrid? or perhaps it was the flying? "No matter, master will be pleased when I bring him it." she thought to herself, standing up to her full height and roaring daring for the giant to look her into her eyes.

Pyrus would be watching the fight intently, hands ready to aid the Armoured and Serpent giants if needed, without breaking his glare he called Saenes, Ruollat, and Azura over. "Azura, the Behemoth hasn't joined the field yet, I'm going to assume that he will be kept away from the fight and will be near the fence, I can't pinpoint his location but would you be willing to take 10 others with you? A surprise attack would surely confuse them and would possibly give us the location of one or more of the giants, Ruollat go with her and cover them, if to many elves converge you know what to do. Saenes, send out a drake and a fire spirit, tell them to go help the Serpent and Armoured." He would order while focusing on the fight.

"Or we can fight the both of them, great," The dragon thundered to his companion. "I'll douse him in flames, while I do that I need you to jump off my back and onto his head. Your armour should protect you while your in your giant form it's just keeping you alive while you shift." Card explained to Dimitri in a quieter tone.

”Understood.” Azura nodded, took Rulllat and disappeared within a flash leaving behind a gust of wind. The Maia arrived at Mairon’s outpost in the forests near the Gorgoroth Fortress.

”Uhuh, sure. Go ahead. Make sure to restrain that one before it transforms. My students are having some difficulty and I rather not throw the Behemoth down on them.” Mairon responded to her requests.

Ten Warrior Maiar joined her and together left the outpost.

Saenes found the drakes nestling in the Ephel Duath, above the Udun Valley. One roused itself, ready to descend upon the Red Drake, waiting for the order to attack. The fire spirits were also located there, conveniently. One joined up with Saenes, “Which is the target?” He asked.

The Armoured and Serpent gazed up at the Red Drake. Dimitri and Cardiloc began to clearly see the Serpent. It was ten meters long, maybe? They couldn’t exactly guess the size but it was quite large. It’s width was around two meters and it’s scales seemed to be toughened and hardened. It was jet black and had mesmerizing emerald eyes. It’s head was small, however, there seemed to be a pouch-like fatty glob beneath its neck. A black tongue slid out between its lips and hissed back at the Red Drake.

Inside the Warrior, Ha'zi swore. How was Miriel so damn strong? Then he had some brief thoughts flash by. Did her powers give her benefits, such as speed and strength, outside of giant form? It would explain her aggressive nature when they would hav- Snap out of it, Ha'zi. Fuck those thoughts. Miriel m a n i p u l a t e d you the whole time! She never cared about you, nor should you for her. She even tried to kill you. Finish her off already and move on to the next monster.

With a roar, the Warrior got up and tried to bring its fists down on Miriel's watching form.

Miriel dodged his fists, ducking beneath them and with her left bladed-arm, stabbed the Warrior Giant through his chest and brought her other hand, a clean fist, upwards between his arms, aiming for his head.

Looking down from Iver's back, seeing all the slaugther and destroyed land, Thoruk started to feel something strange... he was gasping like he... he... had fear? No, nevermind, it was just a fly. Yet still, everything seems so dark, even the skys seem to darken as if they want to prepare everyone for what will come: Morgoth. Looking down onto the giants, seemingly aware of their presence now, Thoruk then says "Let's get this going, I personally am not a big fan of fighting giants and Morgoth at the same time. It'd be great to defeat them in a matter of minutes, if not even in seconds." He gets his fathers axe into his right hand, looking at the finger he had broken back then due to his powers. "Father, this axe gives me the power I need" he thinks as he looks at the sharp blade, so clean that he could see his face reflect in it. "So beautiful, yet so dangerous" he thinks. "Well, atleast for those buggers. Irdirs, since you're kinda stuck in my body aswell, I'd be grateful if you could assist me in our fight, maybe analyzing their moves? That be a great deal lady, I mean we could get a good team if we survive this, don't ya think?" Thoruk asks Irdis, a bit too friendly, but on purpose, while looking down at the other giants, waiting for his friends to make a decision.

((This depends on if they can see both Dim and Card)) Saenes would point to the red drake below them who was currently observing the Armoured and Serpent."The shifter (if we don't see him then Drake) on its back, our drake will handle the rest. Kill the giant forms but only knock out them out in their human forms. Understood? Good, now charge!" She would yell lifting a fist into the air as the drake and fire spirit flew off, as they flew the drake observed the other one, seeing who was bigger

"Man this was exciting! Watching massive beasts fight each other, the death! Well, not the aspect of it but the sure chaos! I'll admit, Pyrus and Mairons plans seemed crazy at first but now I can see the big picture. Wait why am I talking to myself?" Ruollat would think to himself as they traveled across the battlefields. When they teleported into the Elven ranks he would look around for the Hobbit or any other shifter.

"I got your back, Thoruk," Irdis replied, reassuring the Dwarf.

Below him was the Executioner Giant, one ugly ass motherfucker. It was staring back up at him.

--------

Cardiloc heard a swoosh above him and saw a massive green drake falling from the Mountains of Ash. On top of it was a fiery figure, flames burning off the body like a matchstick.

Dimitri could see their enemies flying down to them. He was armed with his warhammer but that would do little against a drake and a fire spirit.

-------

Celeborn and his retinue watched the chaos ensue. The Warrior and Savage were brawling with one another 2 miles to the southeast whilst Glorfindel and Zaro's routed Cohort formed around them; the Armoured, Serpent, Cardiloc the Drake, Dimitri, a huge drake nearly twice the size of Cardiloc and an entire army of Gondorians were fighting in the Udun Valley behind them; to the east the Executioner Giant ran after Elrohir's Cohort, the Flying Giant, Sigeric, Thoruk and Marco above it; and no word came from Elladan's Cohort in the south. It was bad. Very bad. But at least they had the Behemoth.

Out of thin air, eleven Maiar appeared, armed and ready to seize the hobbit. They slit the throats of the four elves who were caught unawares.

Celeborn barely managed to unsheath his own blade in time and blocked one of their swords with a cry, "DEFEND DAUGO WITH YOUR LIVES!"

One of the Maiar reached out a hand to grab Daugo Burgins, a look of malcontent burnt into her eyes.

The pain slices through him and he roars in pain, and trying desparately to slap the traitorous prick away from him. 12253360

Slap him?

Was this really inheritor of the Warrior Giant? He was intense but lacked the effort and precision to be useful. This was almost too easy. As his hand slapped her across the face, her fist hardened, turning the knuckles into the same crystalline material that Sigeric's shard was composed of.

Ha'zi's lower jaw went flying as her fist broke it off in one clean hit. He looked like a complete moron, his tongue loosely hanging out of his mouth. She slowly ripped the blade out of his chest to go for the coup de grăce.

16315828

Daugo scurried away like a panicking rat, scrambling in the direction of the Noldor around him. "K-kill him or something!" he cried shrilly. Any thoughts of heroically defeating his foes as the Behemoth vanished momentarily, and then he was just Daugo, Daugo Burgins of Buckland and Bree.
