VENTURES INTO THE REMOTE (RP)

Seeing that the colossal bitch slap was out of the way, Ha'zi bounded forward to get closer to the head. When, or if, he got there, the Warrior would attempt a hard uppercut to knock out the Giant.

Cardiloc saw no signs of the woman or Berethor and Endo.

"What are you doing here?" She extended her hands down to Iver.

-----------

Incoming knockout punch.

"Thanks" He said and grabbed her hand, getting up. "Well, originally i came here to talk with Tytus about something but now i came here to warn you about Aranel" He continued

"Since he doesn't seem to care bout the fire, neither that I'm outa power I'll try it by myself I guess..." Thoruk would think going back to the river. "Not much time..." he'd say, turning around, looking at the flames. He sits down and concentrates at the water flow, trying to slowly stop the river from flowing and push a large amount into one spot.

Mirecyla wouldn't turn around as she continued to kick the door "I'm very fucking close to shifting then killing everyone one of those high born pricks. So unless your next sentence is you coming up with a good idea or giving us a escape route, you should pray that you survive." She'd growl

As Cardiloc left the house, he saw the trio sitting by the campfire with a dead badger on the grill. It had been cut up and grilled and they were in the process of eating some nasty looking badger steak.

"Morning." Endo said bleakly.

As Dimitri peeked over he got a nice good glimpse of Telimekhtar's shoulder as he rammed into Dimitri's shield. The roundshield survived the charge but was knocked back and with Dimitri attached to it. Both flew. He was knocked onto his back and three darts flew straight at him. He heard them before he saw them.

The river began to swirl, twisting one way. It was barely budging but there was a backflow now and a pool began to build up as the river flooded its banks. Thoruk had created a mental dam.

"Hold on, what? Tytus? Aranel?" Her eyes widened but she moved off for a second as a tree came crashing down in flames. "I'm sorry, please wait." She ran over to the tree and doused it in frost and went to work icing their side of the forest.

Iver heard a roar from behind him and noticed a couple Giants batting down the flames alongside a dozen or so people on the ground.

------------

"You're not going to kill me, Mirecy. Even with all the smack talk. You're good in your heart. Most people don't see it but I do. And you know...he does too," Endo scoffed a bit at the mention of Berethor. "He'll find us. All we have to do is wait. There's no other way out of this. Even if you do transform, you'll kill both of us and bring the wholeplace down." He pointed to the roof. "If you can't tell we're deep underground. Whilst they were slicing off your limbs, I was playing them for fools. I know their names, the Slayer...they call him Glorfindel. I know where they've taken us. A place called Minas Tirith. I heard their conversations. If we had offered to aid them, maybe the King would have let us out and we could have made a run for it."

Endo wiped his forehead for the sweat. "Berethor will come for us. I mean, not just cause we're family but because, well..." He laughed a bit, "You."

15756962

"Well, you cant just stand there and be useless" A little voice told Iver, so he grabbed his frying pan and started putting down the fire patches that he could.

“Morning...” Cardiloc sighed at the sight of the badger. He looked over at Aranel. “You... got me when I collapsed? Transforming... stupid mistake, after all I’ve been doing yesterday, just... just wanted to make sure everyone was fed.” He explained equally as bleakly as Endo, he’d lean over and take a steak, biting into the disgusting meat with distaste. “Aranel, I think, I think we should head to Minas Tirith soon,” He nodded to her.

Endo sat down at the end of the cell and crawled up, yawning and attempting to sleep.

"You all know why you've been selected." Lieutenant Tildir spoke out to the gathered men. "Your the best we have." He left out the 'at our disposal' part. "And you're the only ones who can get the job done. I know this isn't usual or what you're used to but as per the King's orders, we are now under the command of Glorfindel. He is your Captain. You shall address him as such." Had Tildir not known the elf he would have hated the prospect of taking commands from him but after eight months together, watching and listening and following him. Tildir couldn't imagine who else would be better for him to follow. Glorfindel was more than just any elf. More than a soldier. More than just a captain.

"He is in command of our platoon. We are Squad O. Or Zero for that matter. We shall be the direct counter-insurgency force for any giant complications. Glorfindel has extensive experience in this field. You will obey his commands, take his orders and follow them out to a T. Is that understood?"

Lieutenant Tildir asked Squadron O which comprised of Hering along with other soldiers like Erchirion and Galador stood in the barracks training field of the sixth level, beneath the Citadel. Glorfindel stood staring back at the men with his generic stolidity.

"No." Aranel said to Cardiloc. "I'm taking Laurel with me to somewhere safer."

12700073

--------------

"What the actual fuck?"

"No idea, mate."

"Holy hell!"

"Is he mad?"

"Probably. Either that or deranged."

"Both."

Iver could hear a couple people talking whilst he attempted to put out fires with a frying pan.

14628767

“Safer??? come on Aranel...” Card crossed his arms. “We need to find the other shifters, and we need to tell them what happened, you know what, Let’s talk about this away from the others.” He shook his head.

"I'm neither this nor this, but i can hear you talking shit about me" he shouted towards them while putting of the fire.

With a sigh Mirecyla would stop kicking the door and went in the other corner to sleep, resting her head on his knees as she drew them up to her chest. Soon enough she waited for sleep.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Sir yes sir!" Hering would say

"Fuckin' little rat," Daugo was surprised to hear himself say, before opening his mouth and belching out a cloud of steam as if from the very bowels of Mount Doom.

"ok, ok.. it actually works.. now..." Thoruk thinks as he looks at his hands and than back at the water. He tries to pull the water up a bit, meter for meter, combining his mental power with his wind powers.

Dimitri curses as he slammed onto the ground, and upon hearing the sound of the darts, tried to roll out of the way of them. He then tries to get up as quickly as possible.

Aranel stood up. "Fine." And walked off, expecting Cardiloc to follow.

12700073

-------------

Iver put out the last flame around him before he noticed the forest fire had been put out completely. Three five meter giants the size of trolls along with half a dozen other people stared at Iver wielding his frying pan and defeating fire.

"So...who's he?"

"We met him a while back."

"Ah, the naked one."

14628767

-----------

The water began to rise out of the river at Thoruk's behest.

13615485

----------

Dimitri dodged the darts and as he stood he heard more whistles coming his way.

8861015

"As you have all taken your vows to defend this Kingdom and its peoples, you shall be entrusted with the safety of it!" Tildir continued, "We begin training on the morrow. The science division has prepared anti-Giant weaponry for you. These arms are merely prototypes and have not been used in the field for obvious reasons. I expect you to maintain a strict code of discipline when using them. They are to be only used when called for. Otherwise, restrict yourself to your general arms! Understood?!"

Two scribes dressed in robes brought up a cart and unloaded it revealing a multitude of projectiles and blades.

"Normal weapons do not damage Giants-" Then he was interrupted by one of the recruits.

"What is it, soldier?" Tildir glanced at Erchirion.

----------

The steam blew through the Warrior Giant, incinerating its facial flesh and melting the bone. It was so hot that Ha'zi was burning from within the nape of the Giant within a few seconds. He would die if he did nothing.
