VENTURES INTO THE REMOTE (RP)

"I don't know... the proto-giants, here, they fled I think. Probably as far from Mordor as possible." He shrugged to Berethor.

"Not this shit again..." Thoruk would grunt. "I'm searching for a friend, Iver, if you want to know. Since you've pulled me up like this it's obvious that you're a shifter aswell, we were searching for you, but as it stands now, you guys just want to provoke a fight, but please, bring it on, I haven't transformed in a while..." he'd say, deciding not to use any powers yet. "Oh and now, if you don't mind, let me down here, I'm not ya enemy lad. But... if you desire a fight like that girl back then, you're welcome, I wanted to burn the rest of the forest aswell anyway." he'd say, trying to frighten her a bit, yet not knowing if he had enaugh power to release something this big again while trying to focus and build up some wind, this time behind the girl and not above himself.

Daugo shrugged. "Not particularly. I mean, I won't kill any friends of mine, and I'd rather not slay anyone that does not deserve it, but I'll do my duty if I must."

"We mean you no harm, we are just looking for our friend named Iver!" Arandil yelled."Our intentions are peaceful, all we want is to find our friend."
"I must find that damned dwarf before I do anything else." He mumbled to himself.
"Thoruk, Thoruk, where did you go?!"

"Why would you do that?" She asked. It was clear she wasn't angry but neither was she pleased.

Telimekhtar swiftly reacted, sending half a dozen bolts soaring at Dimitri as his charged. Three bounced off his armored face and one missed but two managed to pierce his eyes. One directly into his left iris and the other halfway between his nose and right cornea. Dimitri went blind.

Berethor sighed. "I know where they are, then. Or at least I believe so. Anyway, what do you want to do in the city?" He asked Cardiloc as they traversed the many roads that led through the townships of the Pelennor.

As Thoruk and Arandil were separated, the dwarf was confronted by one rather nasty looking woman whilst Arandil faced what could only be a youthful maiden.

"Iver? How can I be sure you're a friend?" She asked Arandil.

Thoruk on the other hand had been dragged away and was no facing a woman who looked more like a bear than he did. "So, you want to act tough? You're the one who burnt down the forest, ey? Well then, you act tough, you get tough!" She came racing towards Thoruk, who was still on the ground with his legs trapped by the ropes.

"And you?" Vardamir turned to Ha'zi and Sigeric. "What say you on this matter?"

"Well, Marco was dying so i guess it is for the same reason you killed all of the gondorians and betrayed Hazi, we value some people's life over other's." Iver replied, that bitch did not have the right to act like he did something wrong, not like he even killed the bastard anyways.

“I’ve already told you, I need to find the King and the Karoltai and explain, somehow where I’ve been and what happens in your timeline... Or at least, explain the whole thing about the void monster.” He sighed as he explained the whole thing to Berethor again.

"Talk time over... I just love you guys." Thoruk would say before he would let lose of the wind he stored behind her to TRY AND push her down onto the ground. As he let's lose he'd grab his fathers axe in order to block any incoming hits if necessary and try to get a bit of electricity flowing into his axe to stun her, yet not to kill her if needed.

Ha'zi gulped, sighed, then responded. "Well, I'd personally feel better if we were to recruit them rather than any more unneeded slaying. After what happened back in Mordor..." he hesitated, knowing how touchy the subject was for the Gondorians.
------------
Before Ha'zi could continue, Sigeric took his hesitation to jump start the Dalishman's own response. "A bit contradictory to my previous answer, but if we were to use them in a way that was agreed upon for both parties, I'd find that more sensible than killing the rogue shifters. Yet from their behavior that I witnessed, they hate, and moreso fear, Morgoth. Surely it would be beneficial for all if they were to accept the offer, but I believe they'd deny to the chance of experiencing the Dark Lord's wrath. That's why they ran away, after all. So, recruitment is good, but very risky."

"Huh," Miriel almost laughed. "Pity. Never liked Joplin to be frank with you. Crazy one. I think you should've let your friend Mark die. Alas," she shrugged, "What's done is done."

The man grumbled and followed along.

They entered the city of Minas Tirith through its great gates which were plastered in a shiny material resembling Thoruk's armor. After a lengthy few hours of walking, and much sweating, Cardiloc, Berethor and Endo reached the fifth level of Minas Tirith where they were stopped.

"What business do you have here, travelers?" The gate-guard called to them.

After a few weeks of training, Hering and Erchirion had become quite familiar with the anti-Giant weapons. Additionally, certain elements of the training had resulted in a few casualties. Two men had their fire-spears explode in their hands whilst another accidentally shot one at their partner. It was a near catastrophe at the beginning. Yet, they developed. They had grown accustomed to using the fire-spears and the throwing-nets were fairly easy to wield. There was always danger with such prototype arms but they were successful in blowing apart a few objects such as small trees and bales of hay used for target practice.

However, the fire-spears could not penetrate through rock and left small craters in their wake. Out of the forty or so men who had come, only thirty-four remained. Some had left, some had been too injured to continue and some had died. These thirty-four became the anti-Giant squad, Glorfindel's platoon, the Giant slayers as they nicknamed themselves. Yet not a single man had slain a giant.

That test would be coming soon. Before being able to complete the remainder of their training, they had been summoned back to Minas Tirith.

Their Captain led the ride down the mountain as they followed. What could be the matter for the premature termination of their activities?

The woman was smacked forward and landed on Thoruk, her kneecap smashing into the Dwarf's face, some dirt finding its way through his beard and into Thoruk's mouth. Suddenly, both of them were in a rather odd sexual position. Thoruk stared up at her groin whilst she got a nice face-full of Thoruk's smelly nether regions.

"Well, what I've heard from the higher ups in command is that they are in talks for recruitment. However...the response returned was a sore no. Or so I've heard anyway." Vardamir let this slip.

"So, the guy who got Joplin's powers has been in a coma for a really long time. Do you know a way to wake him up or something?" Iver asked.

"Hmm," She mused, "Did you try to stab him?"

14628767

"No, its more of a last resort. Is there any other way in your opinion? Did any of you had that the problem in the past?" Iver asked her more questions.

"Not that I can remember. I know Ilsa could forcefully transform us..."

14628767

"Ok, thanks a lot. I guess i should be leaving now" Iver said and stood up. "Before i go, it is most likely that ill meet Aranel and Hazi in the near future. Do you have anything you want me to tell them?" He said, and looked at the baby, who was the main reason he offered her this.

Ha'zi became disturbed at that answer. "Who... which did they find? And how'd they find them?"
-----------------
Sigeric nodded. He was about to have his own question
- one that he thought was quite more important than the Haradrims'- but he let Ha'zi speak this time, so now he waited  for a chance to ask.

As the kneecap hit his face he tried not to say something, although it hurt quite a bit. A quiet "Hmpf" left his mouth before the dirt got into it. As things happen one after another Thoruk doesn't realy know what to say. "You're...Could ya get off of me?" he asks still some dirt on his tongue.

"We have business..." He shouted back to the guard, thinking quickly... he needed to see his sister first, she was with Marco's mother, right? "With the Lady Eldrith." He added.
