VENTURES INTO THE REMOTE (RP)

Miriel swallowed but her eyes lightened at the mention of the child.

"Yes." She said smiling and looking down at the little creature. "This is Beren," She rubbed her cheek against the baby's and its tiny fingers reached out to touch her hair.

Arandil saw Thoruk just as the dwarf started to wake up.

"Someone I lost. Someone close to me. Her name was Mirecyla. I don't know where she may be or if she's even alive but I need to find her. If you can help me do that, I'll come with you."

A couple of the rangers chuckled at the drill master's harangue.

Whilst Hering cleared through the dishes, Erchirion was left with fixing the store boards, cleaning the floor and stores, wiping away the cobwebs and scrubbing up the ceiling. The two men did not know each other well and it was clear that there was a major difference in their designations. Hering was a much more morally ambiguous man with questionable principles whilst Erchirion was one of those lordly conceited knights of Dol Amroth. Both men came from vastly differing backgrounds but had reached the same field.

Telimekhtar's armoured glove broke on contact with Dimitri's face which hardened into a mixture of steel and shining mithril. The mithril specifically located across his brow whilst the silver coated the remainder of his skin from head to neck. Shards of coal-black iron cluttered the floor but the Forochelrim was thrown backward from the sheer force behind the assault. He missed his shot at Telimekhtar's legs and saw the Son of Tulkas coming down on him from above in movements too swift for Dimitri to even register.

Iver felt warmth inside "Seems that neither you nor me regret about you two not listening to me" Iver said and added "Anyways, i heard that something happened to Endo and that little brat, Mercedes i believe?"

"Slept well, master dwarf?" He yelled at the dwarf. "Your snoring could have been heard by even Manwe. Eru you snore loudly. So, where did Iver go?"

Thoruk walks towards Arandil and as he gets close enaugh for Arandil to hear him without shouting Thoruk would start with a simple "Aye, without snorring ya don't sleep well, didn't ya know that lad?" Thoruk would ask. "Iver?" he went into the jungle, trying to search for those buggers... although I thought he went back to ya and we would take off again soon. Before I took out that fire you might've seen and took a nap he went here, didn't he? Wel..." Thoruk would continue, not letting Arandil time to answer. "Bout the fire... just don't ask, I'll tell you later. But if he's not here he might be in danger. That bugger, Arg... Aga.. something... The person that travelled with us was a girl that has some damn issues lad. She was bout to kill me before I blew her up with a fireball... or atleast I thought so, didn't see ha corpse anywhere though so Iver might be in danger with that Thot girl out there." Thoruk would say, looking around for where Iver could've headed.

"Alright." Cardiloc nodded to Berethor. "We'll look first in Minas Tirith, okay?" He promised the man, turning to the others. "Let's get going then, regardless of wherever you want to go, we'll get a warm bed and meal at Minas Tirith. You may stay, come with me, or go your own separate way. Aranel and I will do most of the talking." He nodded, holding his hands out for the others to grab on to.

"Ill get the supplies and my weapons, we head out to find Iver the fuck. We won't stop until we find him. But most importantly you and me stick together. With you at my side I might not get stomped and go unnoticed. Now let's hurry and search for him, before he does anything rash, or stupid..."

"Aye, bout that not get stomped -thing, I used up most of my power. I've regained some due to the sleep lad, but the fireball realy took me lot'a effort so try to not get caught, a'ight lad?" Thoruk would say looking at Arandil. Ya realy wonna carry the supplies? Aye, do as you want and bout Iver doing stupid stuff, well guess that's normal, but it's always good for some action and you never get bored when he's 'round." Thoruk would say before waiting for Arandil who'se getting his things to search for Iver.

"With you fuckers, boredom is non existent anymore. If you want, can you take one of these supplies along with you? You dwarves seem to be strong and capable of carrying more than you weigh."

He could feel his face heating up from anger, and, frankly, embarassment due to Arcturus's words and the reactions they garnered. But, instead of acting on these emotions, he let out a breath, shut his eyes, and nodded. "Aye, I'll make sure to not be as foolhardy, drillmaster."

Hering for a long while would stick to himself and his work, yet after who knows how many minutes, or hours he'd speak up. "How did a knight of Dol Amroth get to join a conspicuous group such as the Black Rangers?"

"Aye, I can take a bit I guess." Thoruk would say. "We sure are stronger than we look lad, we might not be as tall as the humans, but we don't lack in power lad." he would ad, picking up a bunch of supplies.

Miriel nodded. "They were taken."

Thoruk and Arandil secured the last of their stuff. Now to find Iver...

Where was Iver?

Both of them had been incompetent enough not to watch out for the direction the Dalishman took.

They took hands. Laurel and Aranel connected to Cardiloc whilst Beren and Endo took his other hand.

"You sure you can do this?" Aranel whispered to Cardiloc.

"Minas Tirith and I am off," Endo stated.

The punch broke Dimitri's shield in an instant and the blast force sent Dimitri sprawling back onto his feet. At this rate, the fight would be over before it began.

Erchirion seemed to be deaf or ignoring Hering.

"After dinner," One of the rangers said as Acturus left the battle room.

"Alright, ladies. Pack it up. We eat in two hours. Back to your posts!" One of the officers said. Captain Vardamir remained seated, his eyes on the Karoltai.

"Not them," The Captain said. Once the men left the room, he addressed the shifters.

"I want to know," He glanced at Sigeric, "Do any of you have any qualms about the inheritance of Giant Powers by fellow soldiers?"

"Oh, gr- what a shame" Iver said slightly happy that Mercedes was taken but a little sad for poor Endo. "Any idea who took them?" Iver asked.

"The Slayer. That's what Taras said anyway. Don't worry. The situation is under control."

14628767

"Well, you have a plan where he went since you wanna find him lad? If so; ladies first" Thoruk would say, waiting for Arandil to show him the way. "Cause I was busy with that fire and my little nap lad" he'd add, making sure he had no plan where to find Iver.

"The slayer?" Iver asked, more confused than before. "Is that a servant of Morgoth? What do you mean by The situation is under control?". Her answer left him with more questions than answers.

"I'll be fine." Cardiloc shrugged, nodding to Endo. "Alright, let's go." He breathed out, thinking on the Pelennor fields he had seen when he landed upon them, he felt his mind drift towards them...
